Ohh I don’t remember if this electronic throttle body relearn, I would look At the artidiag 800bt for that and it comes with lifetime updates if you need purchase a scan tool.

So this one will give me codes for my abs ? Reason I'm asking is i need to know what codes I'm getting to determine if A. My abs module is bad or B. If my abs pump is bad .

It’s a couple months late but for everybody else be careful on Amazon buying scan tools. I’ve seen a few people get screwed by knockoffs of various scan tools when purchased through Amazon. If you can purchase straight from manufacture or dealer.

I live in a apartment complex, no wifi where my car is parked, will this tool store the codes, etc. and then access google once i return to my apt and provide all the information you were able to get?

You can write the codes down. Then research at home. This scan tool does not need a internet connection to work. You can also hotspot you phones internet connection if available.

So which to choose TOPDON ArtiDiag500 or ThinkScan Plus S4 TOPDON there is no more money needed but ThinkScan appears to offer more selectable option but still no EPS either but at a yearly cost.

I think the plus s4 as the you don't have to buy anything unless you want to. If you can pay a little more, look at the Mucar vo6 as it exact the same product as the thinkcar or thinkscan mini but includes lots of the resets you will have to pay for on the S4 or S7 and there is a special promo on my video that expires by the 15th. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJXMf2eupM9gabs good luck.

I say the thinkscan plus s4 or s7. If you pay a little more, watch my video on the Mucar vo6, it's a sub brand of the thinkcar (same thing) and there is a promo price of $315 instead of $450+ but it includes it all and is Bluetooth and a great unit. Mucar also has the Cs4 which the same as the thinkscan plus s4 but you maybe able to get a better deal.

Can this tell me which side abs sensor is damage or it only tells you a graph or degree?

You can checking the reading from each and sensor if a hard set code is present to find the faulty sensor. I’ve discovered that most abs sensor will last a very long time but may not perform well if magnetized metal sticks to them. So try to just remove all the road debris and gunk from the sensor before replacing.

@@RANDOMFIX After using this obd2 it doesn't really tell you the exact location but after reading the graph and reading seems all sensor is working properly. So I doubt the sensor is damage but not sure why abs light is still on, any tip or clue? Thanks!

It depends on your budget, a $20 can be good for basic trouble shooting but it won't access not engine related issues. Tell me a little more about what kind of repairs you can handle?

I saw your review on the thinkmini and I think I’ll get that one just because I like that it inspects a car if your going to buy one and it gives you a report.

I just bought this and I'm hoping it's better than what I have now. I haven't used it yet, but I did charge it up and updated it. My problem with it is the update took forever. It downloads really slow! I have fiber here and it's like lightning, but this was slow. Not a big deal, but I think it could be faster. My other issue that I was hoping to solve with this video, but didn't, is one of my updates said to install manually. There's no directions on how to do that. It downloaded the update, but I don't know how to install manually. The manual of course is useless. I tried pressing it, double tap and long press and nothing happened. Anyone have any ideas? Yes it will point you in the right direction and you have to do some additional investigation to confirm it is the issue.

Can a scanner read codes with faulty K-Line or CAN BUS Lines? Because I recently got one and it only reads Engine and Transmission codes. I am getting a connection error for ABS scans.

This scanner can only read engine, transmission abs and srs modules codes. You need a scantool with full systems access and your can bus van be causing the abs module not be read. What kind of vehicle are you scanning?

It is a Nissan Van 2006 model. This vehicle is not available in North America. What do you recommend a bidirectional scanner? My vehicle only has K-Line port 7 in OBD2 port no CAN BUS Lines.

I just got it, Clicked the update option and boom it updated Holden (Australia) so yes. I own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and I auto scanned the Vin instantly
