I myself vastly prefer the Logitech Power Play, I have to say Razer actually stepped up by making a refreshing product different enough in a good way to give people options. I like how the mouse pad for Razer is flip-able and has it's own holder, however I don't just want wireless to eliminate inconsistent cable friction. I also want wireless so I can sit back and use my mouse on my leg when I am browsing KZbin and Twitch. However, Corsair just feels lazy, rushed, and sub-optimal. I mean why would taking up 20% of your mouse pad just to charge a phone slower than a wall charger make any sense? I am committing to Logitech for my next setup. Not because it's my favorite branding, but because it best fills all my needs.
@dAvOd32k6 жыл бұрын
There's something else i would consider to mention. The fact that the power base of the firefly is on the top left could be an advantage in terms of cable manegement (for right handed people); I mean, you can put the cable under the top edge of the keyboard.

I am not sure about the Razer and Corsair pads but our experience with the Logitech Powerplay is as follows: I have had three of these. One was a replacement by Logitech. The issue is that the Powerplay will generate EMF interference while in the charging state, as indicated by the White LED on the pad receiver. I have the G903 Mouse, G910 Keyboard, and the Powerplay. I also use a Logitech MX Master 3 and Performance MX for productivity most of the time. I noticed the mouse cursor while using any other wireless mouse like the MX Master 3 or Performance MX was jittering, and I could not control it while the Powerplay was in the charge state! As soon as the charge state ended or I unplugged the Powerplay, the cursor would return to normal. As soon as the Powerplay returned to the charging state, the cursor would become erratic again! I also noticed the G903 generated a jittery mouse cursor while the Powerplay was in a charged state. It was not as bad as when using the MXM3, and I could select items, but the cursor was jittering until the charge state ended. So Logitech sent me a replacement Powerplay, and it had the same issue! Because I use my productivity Logitech mice the most, I would unplug the Powerplay pad to prevent the problem from occurring. When I wanted to game and use the G903 mouse, I would plug the Powerplay back in. Fast forward a few months, and I started to play Elden Ring on PC using an Xbox controller. I noticed intermittent issues with menu control. When trying to select or scroll through a menu using the Xbox controller, I could not choose anything, and it would jump around! At first, I thought this was a new game patch issue, but it continued to occur, and then I noticed the game was jittering slightly only on the monitor I was playing Elden Ring. When this issue remained after several patches, I discovered the Powerplay was causing the problem when it was in a charge state! Like the mice, once I disconnected the Powerplay USB cable or stopped charging, the issue would disappear. I connected the USB connection directly to my desktop and other USB ports, but the issue persists. All device Firmware and G-Hub software are up to date. I even purchased a third Powerplay pad from BestBuy, hoping Logitech may have changed something, but the issue continues even on the newest Powerplay. The Powerplay produces some EMF that impacts other wireless devices, speakers, and monitors. I am not sure how the Powerplay is affecting my monitor. Still, it is only occurring on the monitor I am playing Elden Ring on, leading me to conclude the interface is coming through the Xbox controller and maybe producing micro character movement, which looks like screen jittering on my monitor. I have contacted Logitech again regarding this issue. I have not seen many reviewers reporting this, but I believe this is because most owners only use a Logitech G Mouse, so they do not know the impact on other wireless devices. However, there are a few reviewers who, like me, use other wireless devices and are experiencing the same issue. Edit: I have noticed my Panasonic wireless home phone has had interference for some time now. This wasn't always the case and If I move away from my desk with the Powerplay it goes away! It just occurred to me that the Powerplay might also be impacting this phone. Sure enough, if I unplug the Powerplay mouse pad all my home phone interference goes away!

Good vid. I went with the Hyperflux and I love it. I was definitely leery about spending that kind of money for it, but I"m glad I did.I don't understand the point of the QI charging one simply because the whole point of this technology is to not have to charge your mouse during downtime.What's the point of having a spot on the pad to do it instead of putting it on a charge cradle or plugging it in? The Logitech is cool, but I like how light the mamba is without the battery and never having to worry about whether or not it's being charged. I've also seen videos showing that the power play pad is very fragile and easy to break. My 2 cents for what it's worth.

Strictly objectively, logitech is the best. Highest con to pro ratio, razer is directed at a specific audience of people who want to go wireless because of their cable getting in the way while gaming but can't because of the extra weight, and Corsair is more of a "it isn't just for gaming" type of solution, which personally I find the mousepad pointless as you can get just get a dedicated wireless charger and keep using your current pad.

Id says to get the Logitech one if you have good money and the Corsair one if not because it's cheaper and it's still good (it has universal charging). personal preference. also if you game more I would get the G703 (the other compatible powerplay mouse) instead of the 903 because it has better switches inside. (ALSO the Logitech one has good weight changing so that cool :D) The Razer product is a good option but since it only has a 20-second battery I wouldn't buy it. It only works with the mousepad and itsw expensive too.

@echtefrero9906 жыл бұрын
L4MB0 No only with the logitech g903 and the g703
@ThiccusDiccus6 жыл бұрын
If it has the wireless charging functionality. The G900 does not work because it lacks that module for wireless charging and you can not aftermarket add it either.

I know Logitech doesn't advertise it, but the G403 Wireless also works with PowerPlay. Source: Legit Reviews did an article about it. Google: PowerPlay works with G403.

Big advantage of Logitech Powerplay is much bigger selection of mice, which is still expanding. What do we have so far? G903, G703, G Pro, G502, maybe some more.
A big pro for Logitech is the receiver is also in the mouse pad, so you don't need the USB adapter if you want to use that

I can vouch for Logitech gaming wireless mouse, I own g700s for 5 years which retire as a working mouse at my office and G900 for 2 years. None of this mouse has given me any issues. It's worth the high cost. I can't say the same for Razer wireless mouse. Star Wars, Mamba Chroma, and Naga Chroma share the same issue, spike lags(not delay) that cause the sensor to pause and jump intermittently.

Why would using a wireless mouse with a cable be a pro??? That makes no sense
@elyx056 жыл бұрын
randomfrankp what i mean u can still use it without the firefly.. as a wired so u can use it anywhere if ur lazy to bring the firefly cuz its big it takes alot of space..
@gorazd42916 жыл бұрын
I dont know you can use it on a laptop or maybe a computer without the mousepad, that's what i meant. For instance let's say you get your corsiar mouse with you and you forget the mousepad with you or a wireless charger, and then you can't charge it. For the razer you don't need the mouse pad, you can plug it in a laptop you just need to take the cable with you. Even tho the cable is annoying

Out of the 3 mousepad and mice combo 1.LogitechG 2.Razer 3.Corsair You should still buy a wired mouse instead.
@bryantimothy86165 жыл бұрын
@Michael Carriere can you spot a major advantage in using this than the wired mouse? It must have an advantage as it costs a lot more to make it worth it..
@slevig4155 жыл бұрын
Wired mouse = a less cluttered desk space, and with today's wireless mice, there's no negative impact. Also Razer is #1, Logitech has a horrible design to their mouse and pad, and there isn't any rgb lighting.
@slevig4155 жыл бұрын
Michael Carriere You can’t call that rgb lighting lol that’s literally just the logo
@slevig4155 жыл бұрын
Michael Carriere It’s not rgb lightning, and it’s not superior to other brands lol
@slevig4155 жыл бұрын
Michael Carriere Please explain yours lol I already stated why I believe they’re superior since the statement is an opinion. Logitech tries too hard with their design, making it look unseemly. Razers designs are usually always very tasteful. And they constantly try for innovation, which as a customer from their beginning, I thoroughly enjoy. People knock off this wireless mouse as retarded because it can’t go mobile (even though it has a cable to plug in for that). It’s the lightest wireless mouse out there for gaming which matters a lot in fps’s. If I want a cheaper alternative that caters to the casuals who just bought their first gaming pc, I’ll go with Logitech. But until then, I’ll stick to the rgb king.

All of them look pretty good, but for me i think the razer is way ahead of the others. Reason 1: Clean and nice design. Reason 2: Light weight. Reason 3: It has the best rgb out of all of them. Reason 4: even if you want to bring your mouse somewhere you can just use a cable. Reason 5: everybody Is complaining about the price, but if you are buying both a mouse and a mousepad the logitech and razer will be prett much the same price anyways, lol.
