I am blessed to have attended 45 Masters tournament days. The icing on the cake is that I live in Aiken and play this gem of a course whenever I want. A slice o pure heaven. I love bringing friends here and watch them shake their heads as they try figure out the greens. Thank you McNair family

I am a winter resident of Aiken, and have played Aiken golf club many, many times. One of my favorites. Not favorite public courses, just favorites. And I have played everywhere. It is a short course.... but.... it is a test. The 14th and 15th are two 300 yard par 4's and if you come away with two pars, you have done your work for the day. They are brilliant short par fours. I wish the video had featured them a bit more.

I've lived in beautiful Aiken for 20 years now, am a 4 handicap, and love to play Aiken Golf Club. The greens there are special. Mr. McNair has done an excellent job with that course and is bringing its sister course, Cedar Creek, back to life as well. Aiken is just 40 minutes from Augusta National. We get inundated during the Masters, and the school kids get that week off for their spring break. It's a very festive time of year, as well as very beautiful what with the spring flowers hitting their zenith.

I've recently adopted Augusta as my hometown and bought a house in Columbia County after years of traveling the world in the Army. I was fortunate enough to go to the ANWA this year and walk the National Course. It's pretty special in a weird and opulent sort of way. The fact that you don't get to really take any pictures with you lends a sort of ephemeral quality to it. Getting a shirt or a hat doesn't replace the flower-strewn hill next to 16 or tell you how steep 11 actually is. That being said, as a golfer, I love that my town hosts the Super Bowl of golf every year, and it does it in a city that has such an interesting history and character. Also, Tot Hill Farm is Mike Stranz' best course. #ChangeMyMind

I'm glad yall showcased the regular guys at a good home town style course that depicted us in a good light. Cheers

Played this course around twice today. It's even better in person. Green complexes are devilish. Elevation changes are villainous. You have to think hard from tee to green. There are two back to back driveable par 4's. And the people are awesome, friendly, and love the game. Days like today keep me walking on as a single, hoping to meet new people who love golf.

George and Wesley had a camp at a small par 3 course near my house that I went to each year when I was younger. I wish i had stayed with golf. I feel like I could've been really good. Looking back I had all the pieces of becoming a pro. Shooting golf balls into the sprinkler valve holes in the yard, being personally trained by a college/PGA player. Too bad I quit as I got older..

Truly a gem of a course in the Augusta area. We are fortunate to have many. AGC is the prettiest and meanest little course you will play. Going along nicely and then it will just bite you out of nowhere. I've played with Matt S and George out there before. Good players and good dudes. Put Forest Hills and The River on your list next time you are in town. A classic Donald Ross course with a ton of its own history and a modern classic on the Savannah River across from downtown Augusta.
