In this looooooong video I randomly experiment with Blender 2.8 Beta:
Left Click Select
Modeling Tool Bar
View Modes & Rendering
Collections and Render Layers
Sculpting
I already used Blender 2.8 alpha, but this is the first time I use the Beta!
I didn't edit the video, I hadn't time, so feel free to skip parts and watch it at faster speed.
I highly advice to watch this at 1.5x speed actually! XD

Thank you for sharing this random experiment format video! This should be a new genre. It is so much better than so many rat tat tat demos of a few features by experienced users labeled as tutorial. While I am a complete beginner, I found this personal exploration most engaging. Your calm and purposeful examination of the features as an obviously very accomplished user gives great encouragement to the beginner. There will be many step by step tutorials soon, I would expect. Very cool video. (You know the volume was not too low.) Also, it is not too long. I see it as more of an IRL video where the viewer is given a chance to look over your shoulder and listen to your thoughts.

left click select is a great idea but i think rightclick select is so ingrained in my mind that i will continue using it for a while.

I wanted to see something about particles :) Is 2.80 works with particles faster using a multi-threaded CPU or not (as I've upgraded to Ryzen 1800x recently).

It looks VERY professional. I know your used to old blender but all these changes are amazing and will make other designers take it serious. I'm sure if you want it be like the old blender that you can change things but for me I love the maya/max look. "I don't like it... I don't like it" incapable of getting used to something new? Thanks for the video also.

How can you add a sub surface modifier to the mesh while in sculpt mode?
@riccardobancone3761
@riccardobancone3761 5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure where you saw me doing that, anyway, ctrl+ 1 on the keyboard (NOT numpad) to add 1 subdivision level subsurf ctrl+2 for 2 subdivision levels and so on..

@@Tome4kkkk I once had a professor at an engineering course, after 20 minutes of speaking I started counting the "uuuhm"s by lines (|), four lines straight, one line sideways marks 5, at the end I had 51 blocks of five lines and three extra (258 times "uuuuuhm") I don't have to say I failed that course XD

Lol! I had a professor at high school (may he rest in peace) that used to costantly say "è ver'" something like every 3 words..(it litterally means "it's true" in italian, you can compare it to people that constantly say "you know" or like that teacher in south park that constantly says "mmm'kay") . During the first lesson I tried to count the "è ver'"... impossible... one of the best teacher I ever had! Anyway I'm sorry about that.. I'm not a native speaker so I have to think about my words! I'll try to be more aware of that in the next videos! Thanks for the feedback!
