I feel so much empathy and respect for the workers in these videos. Chrome plating rims in open vats of acids and high voltage plating tanks, wearing sandals in badly ventilated areas. Running a forging press without any thermal protection, in sandals, and at a blinding pace no less. The guys are really putting in hard, dangerous work for a wage we'd be insulted by. Because they don't have the huge social safety nets of unemployment benefits, workers compensation or welfare that we take for granted. Grandma and Grampa don't have retirement benefits or pensions. Foot melted off from an acid accident in the chrome plating line? No workers compensation benefits, you better hope there's a job opening on the line that doesn't require both feet or your family goes hungry. We have it so good, and STILL think we've got it so bad because people just can't understand how lucky we were to be born in western nations. So much respect to these guys in these videos, so much.

@@SylvesterOziomek "Besides the only reason PPE is mandatory is insurance" Corrected: The only reason PPE is mandatory is because of insurance.. because accidents without PPE create expensive injuries. PPE saves money and prevents injuries. Insurance companies only care about saving money.
@SylvesterOziomek8 ай бұрын
@@bcjb720 How is that corrected? Insurance companies cover their ass so they require PPE and other H&S rules to lower risk of paying insurance so companies comply whether they like it or not. PPE and rest of H&S cost time and money and saves money only when accident happen and all the rules where followed. Big downside of H&S rules is that workers are flooded with so many rules that they no longer have to think. PPE kills awareness. Worker with all the PPE and H&S is more like robot than human. Does nothing but executing instructions.

I have worked in a big company 3.000 peoples, if you have injured in the work, you have a penalty if anybody discover that you no have all the safety clothes and work safety. I like work in Pakistan, I love this video, and they can grow up, and sell us in CE everything that they can produce.

I bought a big box of tea with a complimentary tea spoon and now I know how they can make it so cheap. It is like a live industrie museum to me, but for others it is state of the art.

😁With all the noise and scrap metal and shavings lying around I never saw anyone wearing safety boots or hearing protection. I thoroughly enjoyed watching how you showed each step in the process to the finished product.😁
