I absolutely loved this episode. Obviously, it was intentionally difficult to watch, but the point is we needed to see the stark reality of the limited life they've had to lead for the past eight years. They're basically on the run, from themselves as much as anything else. That nothingness is all that's out there for them. As for killing Gene, it's not about protecting what they have. The biopic isn't really any risk to them at this point. Above all else, it's a way to escape the empty monotony of the life they've chosen.

There is no way Barry can survive this show. It would be a huge surprise because albeit he’s so similar to Jimmy McGill in this episode, Jimmy had a way out by taking 7 years sentence but he chose not to. He chose redemption. Barry, however, already got in jail and he still chose to escape to run away from his responsibilities. He will die the same way as Jimmy’s most infamous associate Walter White.

Sally is now a neglectful mother that hate watches the "just desserts" show when she could've been a full time decently paid acting coach and eventually gotten back into acting. They're both terrible people and terrible for each other. Some relationships are not meant to be and its better to recognize when you have a good opportunity than to push for something that clearly doesn't work

@@snikerdoodles856 well when you put it that way, I guess it makes sense. I just hate time jumps but i still believe the finale will be amazing.
