Those are some happy and clean puppies. I don't have a dog yet, but I do have a cat and washed him in the bath a few times. Sink seems like a good idea. Great content, keep up the great work :)

mine is a doxle (dachshund beagle mix) and too big for the sink. bathtub. warm water and massage. peanut butter on the wall. he lets me wash with no trouble as he licks the wall. when he is done i lay a few towels down and he drys his face. then we sit on the floor for a blow dry. then the crate and more towels. he usually falls asleep as i wash my chihuahua and she is easy as pie and just as sweet. nail clipping for her and he gets his d one at the vet because i cant even.

neece losey dachshund are the best! Mine are getting older I wish we knew more about our breed beforehand as they have encountered a bunch of health issues. We used to give our dogs peanut butter but now I would never one of our boys suffers from Cushing’s disease which is a lifelong illness and he had acid reflexes one of the worst cases to where his little upper esophagus sphincter flap wasn’t closing properly. He spent almost a full week in a specialty hospital and days in a oxygen tank. It took him months to recover..... Now he’s healthy again thank goodness still takes a bunch of medication and eats a special dog food now but overall my little sweet boy is happy 😊

neece losey lol I never clip my dogs nails I send them to our vet and they use a nail grinder I don’t like clippers 😅

I don't have a Doxie right now but I do give my Maltese mixed Shih Tzu a bath in the sink because of back issues that I have. And it's easier because it has a little shower hose thingy

Sadly I don't have dog right now, but when I did have one I would wash him in the tub only in the winter when it was cold outside, but out in the yard when it was nice weather :) Cute video, great tips!

MonieLove HI! 👋🏾 I’m so happy to have you join my page I really appreciate it! 😊Congratulations on getting a new puppy! Ok so things I wish someone told me before getting my boys was it’s super hard to potty train a dachshund they’re a stubborn breed like no other. So what I did was since I’m fortunate to have a lot of free time I made a schedule. As soon as our boys took their first pee at home I wrote it down same with poop. A puppy usually goes out every two to three hours as they have a tiny bladder. I stayed consistent and in about two to three weeks our boys were fully potty trained to use a doggy dog or cry at a door to be opened. I’d also suggest doggy stairs because I can’t tell you how many times we have had back x-rays bed rest and much more. Oh gosh I think I should just make a video of things people don’t talk about with this breed. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ Dog food we use as our dog Rusty has Cushing’s disease and suffered from acid reflex for months we now us Royal Canin it’s a little expensive but worth every penny. Julysa Flor Rubite I wash my boys, once a week. Summer months it’s every two weeks because they swim. I hope this helps. Congrats on your new puppy 🤗

Yes they’re the same scuba diving dachshunds from 10 years ago. Much older now 14 and 13. I wanted to make new updated video but Roscoe swims extremely slow and his sight is deteriorating. Poor guy but he’s very much loved and living his best life! Thanks for asking about my boys! 😄
