I started playing music at age fifteen. By age nineteen, the Guess Who were amongst my biggest influences. Fifty-two years later, I'm still playing, and still have the greatest admiration and respect for Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, and the amazing music they brought us....and continue to bring us! Thanks for a wonderful hour with one of the industry's great masters!

Very nice, a talkshow on the radio, where they take almost an hour to talk to an artist. And specially when it is someone like Randy Bachman!

I've been a fan of Randy Bachman since 1965 when I first heard The Guess Who song "Shakin' All Over" on local Edmonton, Alberta ,Canada radio. I was 13 years old in 1965. My dad and his two siblings were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

It's a God dame shame BTO and Guess Who aren't in the hall of fame. I'm from northeast Pennsylvania and had all their stuff from the 70's. Great stuff!

They would rather have the go gos and Jay-Z in the rock hall of fame

This guy is the creative genius behind the Guess Who and BTO and basically taught Neil Young the guitar. Unbelievable that he’s not in the RnRHoF.

I didn't know how he pronounced his name until today. I went along with the rest of the crowd and called it "Bach like as in lock". ❤

Randy and BTO and a handful of rabid Army personnel from Fort Polk Louisiana, had one hell of a great time at a club a little over ten miles off base back in 1987 or 1988 it’s all a blur lol one hell of a night dancing and singing right there on the dance floor back to back having a blast and I for one shall never forget it! Thanks to you all!

I also was inspired by The Beatles, from the first time my folks and I saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show. They bought me a Hofner bass like Mr. McCartney (which they really couldn't afford) and 55+ years later, well the rest is history!

Great bus and van stories! So many of us relate! Saw BTO at Winterland, SF circa '74 (Blair was in the band then). Great show.

Such talent, such a rocking sound and, the music! Sounds much better on today's new audio gear. BTO was very well crafted, performed and addled with energy.

I've been a fan of Randy Bachman since 1965 when I first heard "Shakin' All Over" on local Edmonton, Alberta,Canada radio. I had several early Guess Who vinyl 45 RPMs on Quality Records back in the mid-1960s.

Its the same thing in Michigan---if you grew up like Grand Funk or the MC5, you either learned to rock, or build Buicks for the rest of your life!

For me it's stuff like this that makes youtube great. Randy Bachman talking about life stuff. Neil Young playing him his new bands music (Buffalo Springfield) and blowing him away with his singing. Gotta blame Bob Dylan for that one. LOL

Backman; the record company executive/promoter in the US who first signed BTO said it wrong (bockman) and it stuck there.
