That crazy long pass in SB against the giants, Moss admit it still haunts him since the ball hit his fingers. I didn't think he touched it but he did.
@nbt23108 ай бұрын
Inaccurate narrative. The ball runs out of gas and dies quick before Moss can go from his insane top speed to stopping and planting to elevate. He slows and gets position at the very last second but the Giants DB catches up and gets a finger on it JUST before Moss can get his hands there. Randy's BEST move would have been letting the DB run into him and drawing DPI, but he is too much of a pure player and does his best to catch it in the moment out of instinct. So I have a choice, believe you or believe the guy who actually played and said it in The Dynasty doc... Hmmm let's see... Hard choice.@0

Watch the Dynasty doc, Moss said it himself, so I'll believe him before I believe you LOL@@nbt2310

The thing that haunts me is there's NFL Films video of Belichick talking to Moss during the (it seems) Giants regular season game, where he tells him sometime it's better not to wait for it to come down, and to simply go up and get it. Seems like the exact type of play coach was talking about.

The 2007 Patriots were so much more talented than everyone else that they were THIS! close to completing the hail mary in the Super Bowl. GOAT Tom Brady throws an epic 75 yard pass to GOAT Randy Moss who absolutely exploded past the deep prevent defense. The Giants just BARELY just a finger on it as the ball dies at the last second before Moss has the chance to jump for it... awful end to a truly unforgettable stretch of sports history.

Great podcast gentlemen, only complaint it's too short. Lol, we need an hour at least.

I'll tell you what my disappointing part is. It is pretty good and I'm enjoying it, but the episodes are so short. To me it's really a five part because each two episodes equal what one episode should be. They should've made the episodes longer so they could've included more material, because there was a lot of important material left out, really important stuff left out.

Bummed that they just glance over 2 super bowls like that. Not really the definitive story of the dynasty.

Mangini was asked in an interview if he was in the Dynasty, Mangini said “yes” but he declined. According to Mangini he already said his side of the story in previous documentary or interview and there was nothing much to say or add to the story.

Because I’m the only person watching this series who noticed: that for the soundtrack to 07 SB they chose the Dies Irae to Verdi’s Requiem. I have some issues with this series - excluding the non linear chronology which is actually appreciated - but they are vastly offset by the immaculate production value. The Kraft bias is heavy at the outset. A few things are overplayed or underplayed or misrepresented or passed over. Of course they are retreading a lot as necessary but the new footage, new quotes, new perspectives, greater candor (other than BB), deeper insights, … and the spectacular reenactments (Ernie snow game drive and the woman with the hammer) have been fun. It all feels like 50 years ago which is not actually far off. I still get worked up about EVERYTHING. It’s been an experience. Hard to believe 6 more to go. 07 was really the beginning of the 2nd third of the dynasty so the math is about right but the reality is the first 7 years were way more than 1/3 of the drama I would’ve condensed the back half and expanded the front end even more. But the direction so far is extremely intelligent so I’m sure it will feel quite balanced by the end. Just grateful it hasn’t been another generic sterile tribute homage. It’s respectful in the richest and most humanizing way possible.

The only reason why Parcells had softened was because Bill was in good standing. He's ALWAYS been protective of Belichick. He was really p***** off when Cleveland did what they did with him, and he CERTAINLY knew Bill was going through some crappy times by the time he was interviewed for THIS documentary.

“The Dynasty” skip two of the super bowls, let your insecure owner take credit for as much as possible, I doubt there’s gonna be an episode dedicated to his own hands on scandal tho
@christopherizzi77658 ай бұрын
The fact they literally skipped over 03 and 04 seasons when the documentary is literally called the Dynasty. Spy gate episode was boring, besides Randy Moss. So far the documentary has been mediocre, I was hoping it would be like the Jordan Last Dance but so far it’s average at best. Especially if you follow the team, not many new things plus skipped so much history of the 01-04 dynasty run.
