When I was a kid I really liked them, it was cool because you got a little souvenir that you could only get at that 1 penny press....

I have always been drawn to these penny presses. I love them. I have an original Rt. 66 pressed penny. They make great souvenirs and only cost a penny. The cheapest souvenir money can buy and a great memory of the time you pressed. Yes I heard of some of these penny collectors. They are better to collect than postage stamps. Good video. Brings back memories. Do you have any of the black/white photos machines, we would pull the curtain and have sooo much fun. Thank you Randy.

Glad you got the machine operating. As a kid, I recall enjoying them. I know that certain venues would have a souvenir logo in their press. I imagine that Disney had custom dies in theirs too. I recall a hand crank model that allowed you to choose one of 4 stampings.

Great video! I used to collect pressed pennies (for fun not like the super serious guys). I have a Lord's Prayer one. Can't remember where I got it. P.S. Oh, those awful chickens!

Awesome video! Happy Thanksgiving Randy.I hope it went well for you. It's funny how they tricked everyone thinking that the machine pressed the penny that's actually smart. Really neat to see how it all work's and of course love the stories behind everything. Keep them video's coming. 🙏🏻

I thought this was cool. It's interesting to see such an early generation Eurolink single die. Yes, the boards on them fail and getting a new one is impossible. I know someone with a modern generation machine with a busted board that can't get a new one. What a shame.

Tell them to just build your own control circuits. Boards are made for production; when no longer supported, easier to build your own controls. It's a penny press machine, not a rocket ship!
