I grew up Jewish and then turned to New Age practices later on after college. I was meditating on my bed Feb 2020 and Jesus came to me in a day time vision. He was SO bright. The brightest white/gold I have ever seen. He was in his glorified body. He didn't speak a word, but I knew from the look of his eyes what needed to be done. I stopped going to New Age practices and submitted my life to Jesus. However, I have been no contact with my mom for about 4 years now. I had to separate myself from her since our relationship was toxic. I have forgiven her in my prayers to God, but I have not contacted her since. I am scared to reach out because I am not sure if she would make me feel guilty again. I just would not want to go to hell for unforgiveness. I know the only unforgivable sin is not believing in Jesus, but I have heard so many hell testimonies that say they saw people in hell for not forgiving others. Do I have to forgive her in person or can the prayer to God be enough?

Forgiveness is something you do with God. The other person may or may not be contacted. That is between you and God. Seek Him and He will show you what you should do. Don't be scared or pressured into anything, this is not from God.

I think we all have struggles with remembering the wrong things we've done. Jesus said, "as far as the east is from the west, our sins are remembered no more". I think Jesus is thrilled that you belong to Him and just wants to love you and be with you 24 hours a day. He calls you Beloved because you are.
