FYI Never ever put anti-seize or any lube on the lug nuts or studs. The reduced friction will cause over torquing of the fasteners and potential breakage. So your torque at 100 may be OK then. But at 140 the required torque would be to much with anti-seize. There is a reduced torque specification with anti-seize. I think it was 40% reduction, but not exactly sure. Its totally OK to put anti-seize on the wheel hub pilot area. Thanks for the great video.

She gonna be a super solid car when you done I need to upgrade my suspension

Im not seeing a point in this unless you upgrade the bushings, seems like something cool you can say you have at a car show and throw a mirror under the car.

Stamped steel actually flexes and deflects a great deal, these braces actually reduce a ton of deflection but of course the bushing will also do this. So bushing upgrade with this would be best but these alone actually make big difference. I replaced all arns (trailing, control, toes links) with these and stock bushing and its well worth it.

I know my C7 Corvette is 100, so I was shocked when I found out it was 140 for the ZL1. I keep mine at 130, I figure that is plenty!

so did it help with the rear not wagging as much under load?

Yes

@@KnightsGarage Appreciate your response, really like your mod taste as well! Wasn't sure weather to get this or the cradle lock out which is more involved etc... My rear is all over the place when under load and its not related to wheel spinning. Seems to be a common thing with these but so many people point to different solutions even toe arms etc...
@KnightsGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@MODIT It didn’t make it go completely away but it definitely helped. The cradle lock out would probably solve the issue completely but this is a nice mod.
