Its as if they completely missed the part about one's allegiance is, not to a person or title or flag, it is to the Constitution. Ours is the first nation founded on ideals, and not on ethnicity or the claims of a king. The Republican Party has demonstrated themselves to be domestic enemies of these ideals. I intend to do what I can to defend these principles against these actively subversive people who dare wrap themselves in the flag while spitting on the founding documents.

"No one in their right mind would make a statement like that". Oh the irony. We had a neighborhood social distance block party over July 4 weekend. This was brought up.
