Mark for RotarySMP loves that style of Rivet/Dimple tool, everytime he uses the one he has he remarks on how beautifully engineered it is, I'm surprised he has shown up to compliment you on it yet lol. I'm sure he will. _Merry Christmas_ to you and your family Randy. 👍👍

If the wire overheats again you could use a heater wire lead. That wire has fiberglass insulation and will not harden or be compromised during use. The spade connector material is also affected by high temperature and less expensive ones may become loose with heat cycles. I salvage the leads from most any thing that has a heating element for just this kind or application then i get the wire with the proper connector for free. Merry Christmas.

IMHO. If you're going with EFI, I would not bother with it and just block the aperture with a plate, that may well improve airflow; plus, you could sell it to someone who needs it. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas.

Thank you SE and Merry Christmas. Yes I agree, I am going to do a gasket match grind on the ports of the manifold and head. That should help. Yes I am installing The Holley Sniper EFI system.

Merry Christmas, Randy, I didn’t know Jeep use anything like that interesting. I suspect those are self-regulating chemical heaters. I noticed the amperage is dropping off as they heated up. Nice repair job 👍

Thanks Dean. Merry Christmas. Yes the current dropped off and as they heated, all seem to work. I don't think they used the heater for very long.

Cool. Nice job! What kind of Jeep do you have? I'm guessing our Jeeps are pretty different, I have an 89 Grand wagoneer. Have a Merry Christmas Randy
