Giant New York Slice of Pizza and Chicken Wings Challenge!!

Randy Santel vs La Meglio's Giant New York Slice of Pizza and Chicken Wings Challenge hosted by La Meglio New York Pizza, Pasta, and Wings Bar in Plano, Texas. After finishing my 2021 Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour, I took a 2 break break to rest and recover. Then I started a Texas & Southwest USA Tour which ended up including just 4 food challenges in Texas. For challenge #4 after my epic fail versus the smothered turkey leg challenge at Turkey Legs Paradise in Dallas, Texas, I headed just north up to Plano, Texas to become the first person to attempt and help kick off the new Giant New York Slice of Pizza and Chicken Wings Challenge at La Meglio New York Pizza, Pasta, and Wings Bar which was all so delicious!! This food challenge event occurred back on June 25th, the day after celebrating my 35th birthday!! I had 1 hour to feast on a giant 3-3.5lb slice of New York style pizza with my choice of flavor toppings. I ordered a slice of Indian Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza and then I had to finish 35 of La Meglio's "Life Changing" Chicken Wings with whichever sauce options I wanted. For dessert, I had to finish a giant slice of New York style cheesecake. I was trying to win my $89.99 pizza and hot wings meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and the first spot on the Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Ram Mehta & Ankur Desai the owners and their families, along with everyone with La Meglio for the fantastic pizza, wings, drinks, cheesecake, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the amazing people who came up that evening in June to watch and meet me!! I greatly appreciate everyone in Plano, TX and all around the state of Texas who watches videos & supports our hard efforts!!

La Meglio's New York Slice of Pizza and Wings Challenge w/ Cheesecake in Plano, Texas ($90):
- La Meglio Pizza, Pasta, and Wings Bar is owned by my friends Ram Mehta and Ankur Desai.
- I was the first person to attempt and help kick off this new pizza and chicken wings challenge.
- There is a giant 3-3.5lb slice of New York style pizza with your choice of toppings.
- In honor of Ram from Northern India, I got a slice of their Indian Chicken Tikka Masala pizza.
- You have to finish 35 of their "Life Changing" Chicken Wings with your choice of sauces.
- I ordered 5 different sauces - Tangy Memphis Gold, Buffalo, Medium Korean Spiced, Jamaican Jerk, and spicy Mango Habanero. Please note that there were other sauce and dry rub options to choose from.
- There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything, including a slice of New York Cheesecake.
- Winners get the $89.99 pizza and wings meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and Wall of Fame.

Randy, I’ve been watching your channel for years. I am a stage 4 throat cancer survivor 5 years out and it usually takes people 2 years to relearn to eat and swallow properly. Long story short you inspired me based on your ability to eat so much and make it look easy. Eating was rough road however, I ate slow but constantly until I was somewhat back to a new normal. My mindset was if Randy can eat all that food, I can eat a little. My recovery only took me a year 😎 You never know what kind of impact you may have on peoples lives. Joel Hansen is half the size of randy and seems to never fail. But randy has been doing this for a while and is trying to lose weight. Which it probably doesn't help his stomach is smaller now.

@@johnstover4584 love Joel, but from my personal belief Randy is the only competitive eater that doesn't ever purposely throw food back up after any of his challenges. I could be wrong and am also not saying other eaters do it every time after each challenge but I feel like some do here and there. Randy's regimen for his food contests are also much crazier than others where he consistently does two-a-days back to back to back.
