Rane has a warmer and more fuzzy sound, It sounds great.

DJ LoStax question sir. I know those usb ports on the back are for rane 12's but you said underpowered ? So if I plug in my denon sc5000's they won't work ? Asking because my new laptop has only two usb ports (and I need 4) so was looking for a mixer that has these usb ports on the back. Did some research and my laptop usb ports are 5V / 500mA I looked at the rane manual but it don't list the specs. Now the pioneer djm-s7 has the same usb ports and it says right on the mixer 5V / 500mA BUT I'm wanting the rane 70 bit not sure my players will work since you said they are underpowered. Do you know the specs on the rane 70's ports ?

They just aren’t designed for charging. If you’re using them for date transfer from the mixer to the players I would imagine they would be fine. You just can’t charge your phone or something like that
