Yes, they turn dark when you have a good seasoning on there. Cooking bacon on it will help coat it and your belly! 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching!

Yea, they have gone up since we bought it. It has been a good griddle. Goes everywhere with us when we camp. The trick to getting one cheap is to find an Aldi that has a lot of stock. They will clearance them out after a bit. I have seen them on clearance for $40.

The regulator appears to be a proprietary design. Would be nice if it could be modified to a blackstone assembly as that would open up some replacement parts availability.

Just bought one yesterday for my hubby as an early Father’s Day gift for $69.99! Could you share where you bought the hose for the propane bottle please?

We hope your hubby loves it. In order to use the larger 20lb propane tanks, you will need a Propane Hose adapter 1lb to 20lbs. We got ours at Walmart, but you can find them at most hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. Thanks for watching!

Were you cooking on a plastic table? If so, does it get too hot that the table gets affected?

Yes, that was a plastic table. I have switched to a metal table now but for different reasons. Never had an issue with the plastic melting. Thanks for watching!

Probably...the griddle gets over 400 degrees under the burner. I will try tomorrow and let you know.

Yes you can boil water. Takes a little longer but it will boil

Can you take the top off and flip it for travel, like with the blackstone? I'm still hunting for this guy.

There are 4 phillips head screws that hold the top.on. I have not removed it before. I purchased a 17" griddle cover, and that's what I use. Thanks for watching. Safe travels!

You can buy an adapter hose and you the 20lb propane tanks. They sell them at walmart. As for it not lighting, you might try a long handled light and light it from the side under the flattop.

We love it! We have never used it inside. I would think it might set off smoke detectors if used indoors. If you do that, make sure it's a well ventilated area, where it's set up.

The directions clearly say DO NOT USE inside! Just like you wouldn't use a gas grill inside. Plus it says to be 10 feet from anything combustible, so you need wide open space

Can someone help me ? I bought this boy from Aldi but it had brown sticky stuff on the griddle part is that normal ?

It might be a build-up of the non stick coating! The heat of this summer might be the reason that its sticky.When we got ours, we seasoned it anyway.. Once you heat it up, it will probably blend in. I would would season it regardless.
