On the bucket stage I think the bucket needs to be open and you shoot from the bottom and the top. Shooting from the top of an open bucket is tough.

It's a Carhartt. Pretty sure it's the "Relaxed Fit Washed Duck Sherpa-Lined Vest"

Does the COF allow the bucket to be stabilized by a bag or does it have to be in contact with the ground? Perhaps put your smedium bag ears up and support the narrow end of the bucket, then either flat bag or bipod on the bag if stable enough.

I think it's an option, although some match directors may not allow modifying the prop by putting the prop on top of a bag.

Shooting the bucket stage the bucket is suppose to be open and you shoot from the top and bottom of the bucket.

Direct copy/paste from the PDF: "1. Bucket upside down (opening facing down) 2. Bucket on its’ side 3. Bucket upside down (opening facing down) 4. Bucket on its’ side" As far as it being with lid off, I guess that could be inferred by "opening facing down" and I have no problem with that if that is the case.
