@@waynedavies3185 ... ya but, hands were well tied, also. too bad they got loose. lol. i'd have enjoyed seeing them march into town thata way. lol. what got me was that both guys ran out & left zeke alone in the house! evidently he didn't run though... lol. lol. an exciting, old time sat. matinee for the kids to talk about. fun. fun.

Trivia: Can you identify the two actors with the first name Lafayette that were in this movie?

Lafe McKee has a real bushy white mustache and white hair. A good regular actor in the 30’s. That’s one, can’t help w/the other one.

Lafe McKee is Sue’s Dad.

The other Lafayette is “Reb”. He was born in my home state Kansas - in Paola, grew up in Coffeyville. It’s always a small world in the actors home places.

the kind of "shoot em up" kids used to love at the sat. matinee. story pretty well written, i thought, but, acting not so good- amazed that the star, reb russell was the least convincing! but, an hr discovering what hollywood used to do. bcz i wasn't a sat. matinee kid. lol.

Lucille Lund said of this movie and another she did with Rib Russell: "They were terrible movies--the worst of the worst." www.imdb.com/name/nm0526206/bio?ref_=nm_dyk_trv_sm#trivia

They used a brief clip from this in one of the few surviving episodes of Captain Video. To save 5-10 minutes of production money on the TV show, Uncle Fred Scott (the Captain Video announcer) would check in on Captain Video's Western Ranger and they'd show a clip from a cheap old movie like this. Only when Captain Video was made this movie wasn't that old. About 15 years old. But it sure was cheap. But no matter how cheap, if it's a B-Western it seems Lafe McKee shows up somewhere in it.

Lafe McKee was usually a better actor than the star in these old B westerns.
