i feel like Ranger in general is one of those classes that doesn't rely on skills too much but actually being an archer that keeps their distance and pay attention to enemy attack patterns, attacking with their basic attack more. I could be wrong but that's what i've been thinking that this class is the play safe from afar type

depends on the build, but overall yes, most abilities are ranged and allow you to stay away from the enemies. It helps most of the time ^^

U can actually use +2 projectiles with the razor skills . It works really well with fatebounds ,but u don't wanna invest in the passive of ranger because u gonna be close to enemies most of the times. I think there is a video of a guy using the ranger build like that ,but its only efficient when u get good enough fatebounds and u are in late game . Overall ,ranger was my main class but i felt it really falls off in late game compared to other classes ,doesnt have many good offensive options and skills dont compliment each other very well . The passive skills are way too specific and all of the skills trade something for extra damage . If u want good damage , u wont even have enough life and elkte bosses one shot u . If u invest a bit more in strength ,u can never kill elite bosses (there are times when they get the buff which restores their life and ur damage is never enough to even bring them to half) . Maybe ,i am just bad rn and haven't levelled up enough but i had easier time with stromwarden

I tried Death from a far but had biggest debuff once enemy is always getting close. I hope they change it since the phone screen is small.

I just go poison and just use all the passive active skills for support, and just use one skill, the scattershot and spam it, with poison build it just wreaks havoc, pretty much an afk build
