Christian is making quick work of the back of this truck! In this video, we cover the work he has completed on the cagework for the fuel cell as well as the down tubes from the cab cage on the Ranger Prerunner.

Just build the cut table into an adjustable height fixture, so you can use it again without cutting. Think ahead now and save trouble later.
@WingsWorldChannel

This would be a much better long term solution! I believe Christian was just eager to get things done on the truck and wanted to save that problem for later.

@@WingsWorldChannel I would have done the same thing. I meant going forward, I would build that table into an adjustable fixture, rather than weld it back together. His prototype idea was solid. 👍

I'm back-halving my Ranger at the moment. I'd like to know about the key characteristics you look for when cycling the 4 link, such as pinion angle, lower link mount angle, anti-squat, etc. I have tried to find information specific to prerunners, but most of the linked trucks out there are mamalonas so I can't find much info.

Why don’t you guys do a Walkabout video on Kris’ Bronco (Morning Dump) from Shock Seals? You’ve worn his Shock Seals shirt on a video before and that thing is legit. Guarantee it’s seen more Baja miles than a lot of other rigs out there. He’s also building a badass Ford beam truck for a future feature.

Awesome work, your killing it! Would be good to see some action vids of the progress work!! The node joints in the fuel cradle, do you use overlay plates or leave them "as is"?
@WingsWorldChannel
@WingsWorldChannel Жыл бұрын
We will try and get some more shots during the process of things, however, it is difficult for me to get actions shots as I go to school out of town and am not home too often! I interpret your question as incorporating overlay plates that capture all the tubes in the node and welding that plate in. If that is the case, I do not believe Christian has the intention of doing so.

@@ChristianEwingVD it meant good job on the back half, all the thought that went into the miters and where they land. Over built, really nice. Didn't have much time to type, was 11 beers into a 12 pack. Also I live in Rancho Cucamonga so there's that.
