In every man lives a hobo 😂. I’m a hobo and dumpster diver 😎. Fun stuff!

I’m taking mine to a Roadtrip again and I still won’t reach a 4000 miles 😂

@@RxngerRxptor yeah but it isn’t your daily driver so that makes sense. If I had another vehicle to drive I’d put way less miles on the ranger

Thanks for the comment. It is pretty awesome. Sorry to hear you all have to deal with T1D as well but technology has come a long way! My oldest two were both diagnosed around their 9th birthday, the youngest is still in the clear and has perfect A1C numbers so we are hoping she is able to steer clear! Cheers

Yeah my son was diagnosed at 7 and he is now 21. Uses the tslim pump and Dexcom and yeah the tech really helps. Also can you take your overland tent setup off or does that rack always have to stay. I don’t think I would want it all the time. I am thinking about the bed tent you tried.
@flaberdoopin4 ай бұрын
@@chrisdrinerI take the tent off and keep it in the garage when not camping season but keep the rack on… that said, the rack is super easy to take off, just 8 bolts and it’s done. If you want the tent I have I can send it to you… we aren’t going to need it anymore

@@flaberdoopin that’s nice of you to offer, did you have a price in mind

Just cover shipping, unless you are close to DC and you want to pick it up

I find that sleeping in a hammock at 45 degrees makes more sense, and you’re actually flat
@flaberdoopin4 ай бұрын
I like laying flat, being at an angle is nice for a while but my knees always end up hurting after a while when I am at an angle like that.

I was looking for your video on the tent and rack install...am looking for the same setup! What rack did you buy?
@flaberdoopin2 ай бұрын
I went with the Yakima outpost, it is the half height rack that keeps it lower than the full size racks. It is pretty good cuz you can still see out the back window.

@@flaberdoopin cool thanks! Loved your helpful videos! Just need to figure out if this rack is compatible with the bed cover I got (truxedo sentry).

How do you carry your bikes on the RR?
@flaberdoopin3 ай бұрын
i usually ride from my house but if i am heading to a race i will normally take my bike apart and keep it in the back seat until i get to the race and put it all together and do final maintenance the day prior. I could always swap out the hitch for the hammock with a hitch for bike rack if needed. I noticed that i spend more time waiting around for my kids then i do riding my bike sadly.

@@flaberdoopin Thanks for the thorough reply. We have been using a Küat hitch rack on the rear. As I have been looking at campers and roof tents, it means I have to figure out another way to carry bikes. I thought you said that you race MTB. If you’re at LT100 today, have a good race. Dig Deep!
