That movie is beatifful. This was the second time i watched it and i couldnt hold... I droped a tear... Anyone who didnt at least feel total sorrow in his or hers heart is without feelings... I dont even know how did i make it the first time without crying... :'( Beatifull movie nevertheless.

I came so close to crying, but somehow managed to keep the tears in. I reacted the same way, not expecting this to be a sad video. I can only imagine how I'm going to react when I have to let one of my kids go (I don't have kids yet), but if this nearly made me cry, I'm going to be a wreck when my son/daughter leaves

At first when I watched the Original after I saw a comment on sad videos saying the title. I looked it up. For the first 20 minutes I was just sitting there, I didn't cry, I thought the people commenting we're just really emotional. Then the ending... I shed 1 tear or 2 the first time, the second time I tried to hold back but when I watched it with you I just couldn't hold it back. I'm not a 'Brony' so I don't know most of these ponies, but I've watched the amazing animations of AnimatedJames and more, so I know some. I'm also not one to cry at all. I haven't cried like this since my Aunt's funeral years back which probably contributes to this because I know what it's like to know someone for a really long time and have them taken from you inevitably in the end... I don't get upset by much at all since I'm not emotional. Anyone who didn't cry at this beautiful video is either lying, or heartless. This is an amazing animation and one with quality I haven't seen in a while. Most movies can't compare to the story/emotional value of this 20-30 minute Mini Movie. I don't like My Little Pony at all in fact I just enjoy the animation and the jokes, but we have to admit. The 'Brony' community are talented people. They deserve recognition for masterpieces such as this. I am considering to joining 'the Herd', but no MLP shows for me :P. Cry with me people of the KZbin.

I saw this during the summer and I'm not a mlp fan as they say, but when I do I like watching it with reactions so I don't feel so lonely, so I'm a causal. Any way when I saw it I cried I never thought I'll cry for a mlp the first was for a fanfic by Disneyfantic but I was misty eyed. But this made me cry it's the best and I'm so glad you watched it Mr. Ponyville Ranger. During the time you were crying in was saying aloud in my room "ah, don't cry" I wanted to pat your head to make you feel better.

Hey brother. I have read and watched the movie. Also the narrator derpypony read the other three parts of the story. I highly recommend listening to them. Thank you for showing me that I'm not the only guy to have watched this and cried. When I listened to the end of the fourth book I cried my eyes out and posted how the story and movie had warmed my heart and brought joy and sorrow to my depressed state. Not I feel like sharing the feeling of pure love of this story. I don't care what people say. Im a 17year old hit that loves books and reading. This story is amazing. I cried bucket loads of tears when I watched the episode of how fry's dog was waiting for him to come home and as soon as that episode was finished I thought about how when you lose someone or something you love that's really close to your heart and when that gets taken away from you,you feel like the walls are closing in and life will just end like that but don't let sadness get you down,let happiness and joy lead you in the right direction and remember all the little things and keep them in your memories that you will cherish forever

You know, the way everyone goes on about Dashie that "it's the saddest fan-made story ever, hurr hurr" you'd think she died at the end. From the description someone told me about it, I thought that might've been the case. I've not read the story, nor seen this "mini-movie". The original comment being: "The story is basically about a human man finding a box with filly Rainbow Dash inside it and him taking care of her like a daughter. Not going into much more detail otherwise I would be spoiling it. Let's just say the story changes in a sad way." So naturally you'd think she dies at the end. The same character told me how it ended, and quite frankly I'm disappointed. Something about returning to Equestria or some shit, I dunno. And as for spoilers: *SHE RETURNS TO EQUESTRIA* There you go, I just saved you half an hour.
