Thank you for showing your great vessels. I love where your BATTERY is stored. No matter the charging state of the art. You will end up changing Batteries. The location on Stern hatches make it so easy to pull out even a 12 volt battery is very HEAVY to lug to exit point up on deck. Brilliant location on design. So glad the DAD father of the company has great managers like you, running the company. I love that you rented out that North dock area of Des Moines Marine. For on water cruise Demo. The travel lifts that CSR operates for you to get your great vessels in and out of Marina (call out to WENDELL the best operator) of travel lifts. He has slung me many times.

Not only is this a well thought out boat, and it is. My favorite part was the feeling or the boat inside. It just exudes warmth. Cozy is the term that come to mind. I would give anything to live on this little ship. This is a great retirement home. Why be stuck in a fixed house or apartment. Live here. Travel up and down the coast or travel the loop. I would stretch a 2 person hammock across the aft cockpit and absorb the fresh air and the birds.I won't stop thinking little magnificent ship. Thanks, Jerry

Ranger Tugs are fantastic. There is one weird feature they overlook in a boat that is extremely, extremely well thought out. Screens. Why do they not have rolling flyscreen/blackout blind hatch covers? When both the flyscreen and blackout blind are retracted you have easy access to the latches without the hassle of stowing the loose screens. Come on Ranger Tugs, this is low-hanging fruit!

Bulbing out the bow where the centerline meets the water then adding breadth would make this a truly a spectacular "fleet management vehicle" as there is a profound lack of deck space save for up top which in addition to the side door makes this an awesomely fun machine for both entertaining and everyday use.

Nice boat! Wish this was affordable enough back when we bought our used 31' in the Pacific Northwest. I've seen the various Ranger Tug models sitting at that dock where they filmed this walk-through. One of the couples in our U.S. Power Squadron had a 28' Ranger Tug and he loved it and trailered it around too. Pretty good layout, well thought out. Looks like it 'could' sleep 6 adults, but might be a bit tight with all their belongings. Nice couples boat or even single-handed operation.

A lot of neat features for a boat this size. My only negative comment would be that the engine compartment is really small making it difficult to do any work to the engine especially if the boat is underway.

I was hoping years ago when the R-29 seemed much the same as the 31, Ranger might stretch her to 32 and make the internal accomadations longer, leaving the aft deck size the same as the 29, but with the cool fold out seats. Look at the weather in the video. Cruising in cooler climates would be nicer with more interior space for hanging out. Yeah, 3/4 size fridge to right of door, and toilet and sink for guest cabin/day head to left as you enter from aft deak. Still love the concept. Trailerable with a beefy pickup. You can use it as a boaterhome enroute to next cruise!!!!!

Beautiful boat - many very impressive features - and a superb commitment to maximizing space. The ONLY down side is the tiny fridge/freezer. It is barely large enough to satisfy the needs of a couple for a three day trip. I would like to see Ranger address this design by finding ways to add a LOT more fridge/freezer capacity to this boat. Perhaps a union with Dometic could find creatine ways to add their large units in a more permanent fashion under the rear deck.
@seikibrian8641
@seikibrian8641 2 жыл бұрын
You can add an optional fridge on the aft deck, and many people pit portable coolers or freezer chests in the cockpit storage spaces, but a good starting point would be to check out the cooking articles in cruising magazines and also books about cooking and provisioning on boats. Dried and canned foods have been the lifeblood of seagoing cooks since long before marine refrigeration was available on small boats. I particularly recommend Lin Pardey's "The Care and Feeding of the Sailing Crew." (Or maybe it's "the Offshore Crew." Something like that.)
@Tnapvrvideo
@Tnapvrvideo 2 жыл бұрын
Great source recommendation. We will certainly explore these books. Thank you! We do use certain Non GMO canned foods at home and certain dried foods for kayak camping and backpacking. The need for a refrigerator is specific to fresh salad ingredients and hard to find Non GMO. organic items. Nearby grocery shopping during harbor stops and layovers has proven unproductive when looking for organic produce, organic Non GMO canned items, and other Non GMO products. You need transportation to find and access grocery stores that are located a distance away from the harbor. It's doable, but renting vehicles is not ideal. Al aside, these Ranger boats look fantastic, and we do hope that they will look to new, innovative ways to place additional on-board refrigeration into their designs. With solar power advancements across the industry including smaller lithium batteries, smaller inverters, smaller charge controllers, and higher efficient/capable solar panels, space requirements for RV and marine applications continues to get smaller making it both feasible to add increased solar capabilities and more conveniences like larger refrigeration.

I prefer these smaller Trawlers for their utility and instant availability. Just get aboard and go. Additionally extra baggage (friends and friends of friends) can plausibly be left behind due to lack of room. I could find peace while still being able to plot my revenge on such a boat.
