AAs are actually amazing in this game. The lighter planes get shredded, but the heavy bombers take a while to shoot down. That is why a good pilot who knows how to use cover can counter the insane power that AAs have. Also... Flakpanzer can shoot down anything in seconds.

No, Ravic DID NOT snipe out anyone of BF V plane yet (in Beta he did if I recall by pure luck), the only guy who did it was Russkhof in full game, but it was also, 1 off chance of it happening. So no, don't even try to snipe plane pilots out, not worth it and won't produce results. Spent tons of hours trying to do that.

yeah, its not like pilots and tankers in a war have to also fight as front line infantry for their kills to count. It almost like they (and people that fill that role in games) practice to excel at fighting from their vehicle and not as an infantryman.

It's because if your dying over and over again from the same guy and you have no physical way to counter it. I mainly play infantry and the thing that made me quit BF1 was the aircraft. With little to no way to counter them effectively. Tanks I understand, there are plenty of ways to counter them as the assault class in geared directly towards countering them. But with aircraft? What can they do to counter them? Jump in a aircraft and try to fight a vastly more experienced player? Jump in one of the few AA emplacements which are also destructible? You may just argue well then they could just go to another server or do another game mode. But is that a really a valid argument. If you bought BF5 to play just tanks and aircraft why don't you play a game like Warthunder or World of Tanks. Don't be a opponent who consistently forces the entire enemy team to rage quit.

Hahaha - I remember back in BF3 when everybody went for IR sight untill they nerfed it. Later it was TV missiles and spawn kills. Double flare use or jamming in a two seat helicopters. Fast double rounds shooting from tanks. Sniper single action shotguns. Automatic shotguns with HE rounds. Using MAV as personal elevator. Sniping players that just got into jets or helicopters. Spaming with grenade launcher. Oh boy - saltness never ends.

In reality, bombers WERE that OP. The only reason the Allies were able to land their normandy invasion properly was because their air supremacy enabled them to carpet bomb the shit out of German coastal defenses. The main reason why the Bismarck, Yamato, and Prince of Wales, the prides of Germany, Japan, and Britain were sunk, were aircraft. Hell, Biplanes shat on the Regia Marina at Taranto. Thats how powerful they were.

Its really good piloting skill and to be honest I would rage too if someone on plane KD 40-1. I had such situations in battlefields and what I found out, that usualy these plane whores are really bad players between infantry fights or other vehicle fights...and they really afraid pick real fights. nope, seeing someone going 40-1 is absolutely fine, however seeing a guy with a 1.5 (or even inferior to 1 pretty often) infantry kd going 40-1 without even having to aim, killing top bf players and finishing with as much kills as a player like let's say stodeh (there are plenty more beasts on ytb and twitch but also ppsl not creating content so u don't know them) who trained rly hard to get good, to have insane muscle memory, extreme accuracy, great reflexes plus that are rly playing smartly well no just fuck off, it's not normal that these guys die bcz XXXXxR4nd0mN00bxXXXX flew over their head and just pressed a stupid button to drop bombs, and the worst is that when u say something in the chat they say "CrY mOaR KiDd, S0 mUcH sALt" lmfao, u are not ravic, get back to the reality, the reality is that u are a 1 kd noobs that needs aids to match with good players, as simple as that. A solution? increase the player count in game, give more planes to both teams, make taking down infantry harder so plane focus on dogfighting aka the only thing that takes skills with a plane. Ofc dogfighting is pretty hard so u need to be rewarded, make every kill on a plane count twice, when u kill a plane with one seat u get 2 kills, with 2 seats 4 ( i am not sure about the numbers tho, it's just the main idea, 1 seat 1 kill, 2 seats 3 kills can work too idk) so their kd don't look ridiculous in comparaison to infantry players to not hurt their ego (that would be a good thing tho, we will see who uses a plane to cheese and who uses a plane bcz he rly likes flying). This way, planes are going to be focused on dogfighting which is insanely fun but also takes skills, ofc they will still have interaction with infantry but not for farming ez kills, more playing a tactical role and occasionaly killing infantry and ground vehicles ofc.

Not exactly. I have been a pilot since battlefield 3 and even managed to just eek into top 1 percent of pilots globally in 1. However, people can be good at more than one thing. I will admit I'm shit at tanker but on ground, I'm usually pulling 50 kills or so a round. Moral of the story, you can be good at multiple things

The real problem here is that the aa on most maps have very limited line of sights for hitting aircraft.With so many obstacles that block LOS like trees that eat up any flak shot or the fact that most aa emplacements are in a trench which gives it even more limited LOS for lot altitude attacks as well as also blocking shots or the fact that the guns overheat way too fast unless used by a engineer makes bombers very hard to kill in the spur of the moment, assuming you just dont get killed by infantry first.

Not even the Ostwind can manage to destroy a bomber that comes straight at it. This should not be possible. The AA-Tanks have enought drawbacks as is. Not being able to fulfill it's purpose can't be one of them.

Hector Muñoz is the no skill bomber pilot, the real skilled players use a fighter and gun run even someone like me with no skill in the plane domain can carpet bomb so that says a lot for skill needed for a bomber lol. @@omegalul1012 You must be thinking of another aircraft, Stukas derives from "Sturzkampfflugzeug" which in German literally means dive bomber - that should give you a hint of it's main use. They were not very maneuverable and they had a top speed of about 390 km/h. A spitfire has a top speed of 594 km/h, the German and American fighters had top speeds above 600km/h and they would have absolutely raped a Stuka in a 1on1 scenario. A Stuka was not supposed to fight aerial targets, it's made for taking out ground targets.

Heads up the AA tank is absolutely beastly against all plane types. Faster rate of fire than stationary and it does great damage. Last match I played using it I just sat behind our objectives and shot down countless bombers and fighters.
