The Rangers were off to a slow start but wer able to find the back of the net 4 times in the 3rd period to tie the Rangers Franchise record of 53 wins in a season. Mika Zibanejad scored twice and Chris Kreider had another power play goal. The Rangers look to make it a historic 54 wins against the Islanders on Tuesday.

Over an 8-yr span, playing for the CBJ or with linemates on the Rangers who were never great before they played with him, his stats are incredible, He's no 5 in scoring and the only player on that list with a comparable +/- is McDavid. He's well ahead of MacK, Matthews or Kucherov. The two best players in the NHL are Panarin and McDavid. MCDavid is faster and creates more, but he also concedes more. I'd give the nod to McDavid only because Panarin has had better goaltenders behind him, but Panarin plays with a higher IQ. I've been a Rangers fan since the late 1960's, and I'd rate Panarin as the best-ever Rangers player outside of Henrik based on his play as a Rangers player.

Good home win although, sluggish in the 1st period.... Never count the Rangers out with the fire power they have.... Kreider-Man with his 3 p.p. goals in a row was impressive as was Mika... The Bread-Man and his 4 point night was skill.... L.G.R.!!!!!
