This battle rocked - the combined arms worked so well. The recon jeeps spotted, A10s wrecked a whole bunch of tanks, the Rangers took the towns and the artillery counter-batteried really well.

Loved the micro that saved the bailed out tank, that was great. I was surprised you were cavalier with the scout units, since you've been complaining about a lack of scouts for so many battles; even though they're 0 moral you don't get 'em back if you use 'em. There was one point where you were too busy microing and I was just begging for you to get your counter-battery going again, I think it cost you a couple of units to not. Anyhoo...don't mean to backseat drive, I can't play, just really enjoy watching these :-)

This. This is usually his second biggest mistake on these videos. That, and just ignoring the enemy artillery that he'd be able to kill if he drove his tanks up a few feet farther because he wants to focus on the other side of the map that is actively being hit by those same artillery pieces.

The unit had ample recon for me to sacrifice. When the numbers get low I try and get more careful. Counter battery is a weird one because it can take up a lot of time if you do it manually but if you don't the counter battery order doesn't move your own arty after firing so they then become vulnerable themselves. Always appreciate the feedback!

Great combined arms battle here. Saw good use out of recon, infantry, armor, air support, and artillery. This might be my favorite battle from the series.

Hey Vulkan, ANY attack on a disorganized unit automatically kills it, regardless of any reinforcements it receives. I learned that the painfully hard way (it happened to me)

Bail outs should be a lot less common, happens at least once in every battle and always on mbt's for some reason. Random bmp getting one tick of damage after non-penning you and your 3 vetted tank crew bails.. Meanwhile the same BMP can tank an M829 to the face and just casually moves away.

Man the AI logic on the strategic map is so frustrating. Just completely leaving the T80Us out to dry instead of fighting a competitive battle to save them? Honestly the fact that the AI can decide not to commit reinforcing units is so dumb. Instead of one exciting battle you’re constantly having to fight like 3 tedious curbstomps.
