As a Rangers fan I don’t see this as a deliberate hit on Mika. Mika was not paying attention to where he was going and he skated right into Pelech. That’s on Mika, not Pelech. Hockey players have to always be alert and aware of where they are going. Hockey players, from an early age, are taught to keep their heads up. Mika failed to do that and he payed the price.

Pelech and Zibanejad collided. It was not a cheap shot. Both players were looking the other way when they collided. Dobson took a 2 minute boarding penalty in the final 10 seconds that didn't get called and the Rangers retaliated. It wasn't viscous and the player wasn't hurt. And BTW, Ulf Neilsen has admitted in an interview that you can find here in KZbin that Potvin's hit on him that broke his leg was a clean hit.
