There should have been a far more vociferous campaign to strip the titles. They tried to palm us all off with the Nimmo Smith finding (which was a shameful whitewash) and by then the new season was already under way and the momentum of the summer preseason had been lost. The campaign should be reinvigorated. They cheated, they cheated for years; strip the titles.

12 years on, David King and serveral led the recovery of Rangers from the lower leagues in Scotland back into the Premiership and ultimately to become Scottish Premier League Champions in 2021 and Europa League finalists in 2022. Rangers had a good ending.

This club (The dead one AND THE NEW 2012 zombie version) - is, was and will continue to be nothing short of an infection on the Scottish game. The disgraceful misuse of EBT schemes managed to cheat teams like Motherwell, Aberdeen, and of course Celtic out of potential Champions League money for years and to suggest that no sporting advantage was gained through is nothing short of dillusional and laughable. The one thing that makes you laugh is that the new club seems hell-bent on making similar mistakes. Running at a loss for the 11 years since their inception, yet the SFA/SPFL turn a blind eye....... how has this been allowed? Eventually UEFA or Hector will come calling and the crumbledome will finally close for good. The sense of entitlement is astonishing, yet seems to stem from absolutely nothing. There is NO REASON to feel so entitled when the old club was built on a sham.
