If you were an Isles fan for over forty years like me you'd hate the Rangers, Pens, Caps, and Flyers for the most part. All have extended postseason histories with the Isles.

@@veritasinvicta2996 I’m an Isle’s fan since 1975. I didn’t ever root for the Rangers, in fact, was rooting for the Kings when they met for the Cup. I didn’t hate the Rangers (I hate their fans). But now I officially hate the Rangers.

Norm with a terrible take ! He talks about how Pelech’s hit was on purpose, not even close Norman ! The Dobson hit was without a doubt a boarding call, but it was probably not called due to the refs not calling the slew foot earlier ! Norm says My coach this and my coach that, he’s not your coach Norm, he’s the rangers coach, your glory days are gone and the rangers will be out in the 1st round !

1 Rangers have the best record in the league and are the clear frontrunners for the Cup no excuses. 2 Rangers should be benching their star players down the stretch not sure why Zibanejad is even suited up. That's on their coach. 3 Rangers can't handle the Islanders 5v5 and the Islanders can't handle the Rangers powerplay. Any other team besides the Islanders would have scored 5 goals in the first with those chances. Refs won't be giving the Rangers 6+ powerplays in the playoffs and Rangers leading the league in goals off the rush will be much harder to come by in playoff hockey. 4 You protect yourself at all times! Zibanejad signaled for a change then proceeded to goal hang and track the puck instead of skating straight the bench for the change and collided inadvertently or he took a dive.

Listening to Boomer talk is painful lol, as I have never gotten that revved up about any Isles loss or win and his Rangers are in first place, so why take a loss that bad and complain about how another team beat you, as that hit on Trocheck and the collision with Zibanejad was nothing to even get excited about, especially when you have Trouba and Rempe playing for you, as I'm sure Boomer thinks those 2 are just fine and dandy lol. I'm a Canadian, but have been an Isles diehard since 1976 and I've never ever hated the Rangers and one of my brothers is a Rangers fan, so I actually cheer for the Rangers whenever they play Toronto or Montreal, because those are 2 teams I absolutely hate lol, because I grew up with mainly Leafs and Habs fans, so I despise them lol. Boomer is right about one thing, the Isles better be ready for Montreal tonight, because losing tonight would definitely hurt their playoff chances.

On both sides. Palmari was close-lined and nothing was called. You know it happens both ways. The Rangers average over three minutes more PP time per game than the Isles. Because their game is predicated on the PP, they depend on getting more calls than not. When they don't get them they explode in anger. Calling the Pelech collision with Mika Zibanejad vicious was Peter playing to the refs for more calls on Saturday. He's a clone of Rod Brind'amour. Reminds me of Bruce Cassidy calling the Isles the "NY Saints" three years ago in the second round.

No, it is you JonathanSiricio you are the one that’s soft if you have to make a comment’s like that because we are the number one team in the NHL and we won the Presidents trophy and the Stanley Cup so go ahead.
