Speaking again about lyle Cameron, he is younger than diomande and plays in a lesser team and his numbers are better. On the eye who is better? As they're lightyears apart in transfer fee and wages. The one I would be going for is mulligan, can play 3 or 4 positions and could be coached into a long term right back. Puts me in mind of steven whittaker

Clinton Nsiala is our second best defender imho, after Big Leon, and he is the best passer in the team, in terms of accurate long forward passes, at the right weight of pass, which is crucial to allow us to beat the opposition's midfeld defensive cover. Clinton, is another signing who is saving Rangers a fortune and is a credit to the Rangers recruitment department. Clinton, after listening to a recent interview on Rangers TV, seems to have the right mindset and positive outlook to thrive at Rangers. If Rafa Fernandez turns out to be another gem, then it may well be Clinton and Rafa as our centre backs, by the end of the season, which bodes well for Rangers future success. If this is to be Tav's final year, and Dujon replaces him at right back, then the average age of our defensive unit would be 22 years old, with an opportunity to develop as a unit over a long series of matches to achieve optimum consistency. A very pacey back four into the bargain too. Bring it on. Let's go.

This is good news and we should want teams linked with our players. Only way we catch up to Celtic financially is this trading model being successful. I'd value Jefte around £8-10m and with more experience, more G/A and hopefully adds trophies under his belt and that value could go beyond £10m.

The only way that Rangers will be able to consistently compete with Celtic financially is by increasing the stadium capacity to beyond 60,000. It is an economy of scale challenge and a no brainer given that we have 10,000+ people on the waiting list for season tickets. This has to be the priority going forward where we add capacity during the close season, as part of a meticulously planned and organised construction programme.

Player trading model is all fine and well, if your player scouting model is in tune, otherwise making a profit on a player your not able to find a replacement for is a step forward and 2 back, asset stripping.

That’s a fair point. I think it was around £12m. However I would say that he looked slightly better than Jefte is currently. If we sold Jefte right now it would probably be for £8-10m, but wait another six months or a year and it could be a lot more as he has a lot of potential and room for improvement.

I would like to see if Big Phil can develop Rabbi Matondo as our left back, if he is not the answer on left side attacking midfield. He is rapid, has height on his side for defensive cover at free kicks and corners and he can overlap on the left wing in support of the left sided attacker. If Big Phil could make this work, it could save us a fortune.
