Known her since she was a 2nd Lieutenant. Nobody respected her. Nobody followed her orders. When she was promoted, she always had someone under her to conduct ops. She just rose on their efforts. Hey Ranger, Today Major Dallas Miller USASF (Ret.) Passed away from Bladder Cancer. Major was a 4 tour Nam vet Ranger/ SF. He was my JROTC Senior Army Instructor. He never asked us of something he wouldn't do himself, he was a leader. Major inspired us. So with a sad heart here is a shout out to all vets. 👍💪🍺❤️🙏

Congratulations on your promotion, sir. When I was in BT back in the day (1983, Ft. Jackson, SC) the one thing that struck me, and has stuck with me, was a poster I saw on the wall of one of the bldgs where we were training: it said something to the effect of "let no soldier ever say 'had I been better trained' ". I wasn't the best trainer, but I enjoyed it and understood how very important it was, especially as an NCO. As an O-4, you have the obvious ability to train (let these videos stand witness to it) and the passion. If you were ever in the enlisted ranks, some SGM out there is prolly kicking him/herself for letting you out lol I wish you continued success in your military and civilian/YT endeavors, and may we all be beneficiaries of your efforts.

I have never had the training in the Air Force for survival except the one class we had before being sent overseas during the Vietnam War, but learned quite a bit about survival after I retired and do have the necessary items for survival in the forest. My backpack have the items one would need to survive in the wilderness and included is my two first aid kits and one folding knife to use and a full tang knife on my utility belt along with my canteen for water.
