Captain makes the trail look easy even when it’s difficult. Getting lost is horrific. Getting lost at NIGHT is a whole other level. The AT has treated you well because you’re a great person. The AT loves you and so do we! When you finally do finish the trail, please take a picture of yourself in a tuxedo and haircut/shave!!! Hopefully you will keep making videos of life after the trail.

Great photo shot with the Spider Web glistening in the morning dew. That weather must be some of the "embracing the suck" hikers describe. Still, for the most part. the weather has been relatively good for you...especially over the White Mountains. Other than the dead of Winter nights you had, due to departing so early, it's been fairly good for you. And you've reaped the rewards of leaving early...by being farther north in the Summer heat and still largely being ahead of the most crowded parts of "The Bubble."

I’ve done so many gps circles trying to find a waypoint, it isn’t funny! Got lost on a big sand plain once way pointing priority species. I had the gps zoomed in and didn’t realize that I had gotten completely turned around and was heading away from the car. It was late in the day and I was tired and hungry. When I didn’t get back to the car my husband came looking for me by that time I had zoomed out on the gps and realized what I had done. That was a scary lesson. You must have been terrified out there in the dark! But you had the right idea. Best scenario would be to set up your tarp and wait till morning. I’m glad you didn’t have to do that!!! Take care.

I heard one of the pieces of music on another video, nothing to do with the AT. It was very confusing, kept thinking YT had mixed up the videos somehow. I find myself humming them every now and then, they have become ingrained.

I like how you show the trail and for the most part your promisingly talented. You are a great hiker…. but I have to fast forward through the first few minutes everyday I watch…it grates my nerves how you film yourself… lip smacking-starry eyed-snorting like your in a daze . If that’s allergies… or recovering from being high … i pray it gets better ❤sorry. I said … what I said !
