Auch wenn man seine Augen unabhängig voneinander bewegen und dem Wort "Camouflage" eine völlig neue Bedeutung geben kann, heißt das noch lange nicht, dass man die Situation im Griff hat. Trotz seiner unbestrittenen Talente ist Chamäleon Rango weit davon entfernt, der Held zu sein, der er so gern wäre: cool, unberechenbar, selbstbewusst, geheimnisvoll, und an jedem Bein klebt eine schicke Chica.
Der Alltag im Terrarium ist öde, und dass geht ihm völlig gegen den Kamm. Eine Sinnkrise jagt die nächste. Als er eher zufällig aus seiner Behausung entkommt, sieht er seine Chance gekommen. Rango begibt sich auf eine abenteuerliche Suche nach seiner wahren Identität.
Als er dabei plötzlich in einer mysteriösen Stadt im Wilden Westen strandet, die gerissene, skrupellose Banditen an sich gerissen haben, wird Rango kurzerhand zum Sheriff ernannt. Ay, caramba! Ist das die lang ersehnte Gelegenheit, endlich ein Held zu werden? Jetzt wird scharf geschossen, Gringos!
Das Dreamteam aus "Fluch der Karibik"-Regisseur Gore Verbinski und US-Star Johnny Depp (Sprecher in der Originalfassung), hat in der Wüste fruchtbaren Boden für sein nächstes gemeinsames Kino-Abenteuer gefunden. In dem staubtrockenen, humorgeladenen CGI-Actioner "Rango" fliegen Gags, Bohnen und Blei um die Ohren der Kinozuschauer, wenn ein durchgeknalltes Chamäleon dem Traum seines Lebens hinterher rennt.

+XxRockzzBandzzxX Rockzz Just like me. When I first saw Rango it was the German version and I was enthusiastic about the film. Recommended it to my boss. That was several years ago. Only a few weeks ago I found out Rango was played and spoken by Johnny Depp. Just like I found out recently that some of my favourite movies have Depp in it. Never noticed before, not in years. Never was a Depp fan, just liked some films without really taking notice of him. So, yes... I don´t like movies because Johnny is in them. In fact, I got to like Johnny because he´s in some of my favourite movies. Now that I found out I became a fan... Took a while to get me under his spell... but that´s me, always late... :-D

4:30-4:55 oh my...i was on the edge of my seat through all Jake the Snake scenes and its so funny seeing them act it out! I love that man. (especially 4:35) and the little shove after "t' HELL!" haha *shivers*
