Heartfelt sympathies Sankar Mani Sir! I sing this Kriti often whenever I feel depressed Then during the night when the whole world is asleep and there is absolute silence all around, I listen to this Kriti in Lalgudi's violin and RG's vocal till late into the night with tears of joy flowing uncontrollably, If you want to experience the feel of this Kriti in which the Sadguru pleads before the Goddess, you refer to Thyagaraja Vybhavam Blogspot authored by Col (Retd) Govindan to know the word by word meaning of this composition. I had been to Lalgudi for getting my grandson tonsured at the Siva Temple in Lalgudi in 2017and there before the sanctum of Amman (known as Srimathi) I sang this Kriti This was where the Saint Thyagaraja also stood about 200 years back to sing this Kriti extempore This is one of the 5 Pancharatna Kritis under the name Lalgudi Pancharathna You may like to listen to Lalgudi's violin. an unabated flow of sangatis mesmerisingly depict the beauty of this Kriti ( I have never heard this) and the bhava of Bhairavi is showing its brilliance in every avarthanam and on the whole the rendition brings to invoke the Blessings of Mata Lalithe -- so lalitham to hear the rendition of this sisters duet well synchronised voice leaving at no time a double voice to be heard by any listener - a lesson that is imparted for any duet singers... Truly , Bhairavi is an old masterpiece by you both and it brings back bags of reminiscent memories . Kharaharapriya is the same . These two master ragas are my favourites only in your voices . Neraval was sketched like a beautiful landscape . Ranjani mam nailed those . How she mystifies her beautiful and angelic voice in Bhairavi !!! It's a mystery . She sings with the utmost bhava . The ending at swaraprasthanams were just aha!! I literally exclaimed wow on that part . Still sounds unreal to me . Warm regards to you both and lots of love . Raga Aarabhi, Raga Aanandabhairavi Bhairavi; Raga Asaaveri; Raga Ahir; Raga Muhari; Raga Madhyamavathi, Raga Thodi; Raga Tarangini, Raga Chenchuruti; Raga Kambhoji; Raga Kalyani; Raga Sankarabharanam; Raga Suruti; Raga Gowri Manohari; Raga Devagaandhaari. Also I suggest 9 song collection of Kamalamba Navavarnam Kritis of Shri Muthuswamy Dikshidar. This 9 songs would cover many Ragas I have mentioned. If you like these Ragas, then I can lead you to a few great Artists who have rendered many songs in those Ragas. I suggest Artists like Madurai Mani Iyer; Palakkad K. V. Narayanaswamy; Nedunoori Krishnamoorthi; Semmangudi Sreenivasa Iyer; M Balamurali Krishna; N. C. Vadanthakokilam; young artists like Ramakrishnan Murthy.
