The m14 / m21 is a post-WW2 design that came when they tried to modernize the m1 garand post 1953 (this being the Korean War) with a box magazine. The M21 being the designated marksman rifle variant of the m14, which was still disliked by most users.

Honestly I understand how anyone would feel that way about the m21, but I think its really easy to overlook its 6.5mm conversion especially since you can't prebuy attachments, which is essentially an mk11 but better in every way, PLUS a 2 hit kill to a good range and you may want to make a video on it if you happen to check it out.

sfg 50 is really good with 6x acog, yellow laser, tri laser or ballistics tracker. I personally put the 1750 kill ammo on it and I think its a bit better

M21 (and by extension the M14) is technically Korea/Vietnam/general Cold War era and not WW2, but the M14 is based on the M1 Garand, but more specifically the T47 rifle.

I think the best way StyLis could rebalance the GI M1 would be to give it similar torso and limb damage to the M1911A1, allowing it to 1 torso 1 limb for a good bit and then more of a 4-5sk limb at range but give a similar headshot range as the Desert Eagle L5, and have the recoil somewhere in between the 1911 and L5 TL:DR buff headshot range, nerf torso and limb damage, reduce recoil to somewhere in between deagle L5 and M1911A1

M21 is M1 Garand at home. Change my mind. The M21 is just a box fed 10rd mag 7.62x51mm. Where as the M1 is a 8rd internal mag that fires .30-06. In my opinion the Garand is superior in every way.

The M16A1 has a fixed rpm irl but the scar hamr thing is real i believe, it changes the bolt mechanism once it reaches a certain temperature increasing the fire rate. (closed to open bolt) Theres not much info about the hamr since it was a experimental SCAR variant that lost a trial to a lmg variant of the hk416.
