So, basically, the primary strategy for Doomfist is to flank an enemy and go for tanks first. He's not supposed to actually kill people until the deciding battle on the point and serves as a distraction and an initiator instead. The most important thing seems to be choosing the right time to attack. On attacking section, the first point ChipSa did seem like he wanted to get to the left flank but hesitated a few times. That's because his team was not ready yet. He has only gotten an opportunity to go in at 1:37, when his team was assembled and enemy Mercy died. Even then, the turret has shut him down completely, forcing him to retreat. Something as simple as Torbjorn can counter Doomfist pretty effectively. Too bad he has swapped afterwards. Doomfist excels at getting his enemies where he wants. At 2:53, the main idea was to drop Orisa down from the favorable position. We can see at different moments how his abilities were used simply for their CC effect. It's especially effective on maps with huge pits, like Eichenwalde. Uppercut also knocks people back, which was used a couple of times. At 3:13 we can observe the perfect example of everything said so far. Use Rocket Punch to push Orisa towards the team (which also prevented her from right-clicking Doomfist), classic combo kill on McCree (notice how the Seismic Slam was targeted to McCree's side which threw him off and made him miss) followed by Meteor Strike (that's how you should climb walls with it) ending with another Seismic Slam towards the tanks into an Uppercut into the pit. Beautiful. But it only worked because of the perfect timing. Nobody expected a Doomfist to appear from the basement at this exact moment. Maybe it was luck, or maybe that's what differentiates good Doomfists from great Doomfists. There's another one little trick to learn. After releasing right click you can press Space to cancel the animation but keep the momentum. That allows for some smooth combos, like the one demonstrated at 3:21. Anyway, thanks to this video I've understood how to play Doomfist better, which is appreciated.

Groumoun You can definitely go for the Mercy but with her flight it can be hard to land a proper seismic slam and uppercut combo. Plus Mercy is typically harder to get to than a peeking or overextending DPS. Your longest cooldown is 7 seconds, so trading that for a 30 second cooldown and pressuring the Mercy rezzes is really strong, if you can't of course remove the Mercy herself.

Doomfist rp-100 with wall 250. Ss-Max’s at 125. Ru-50. Hand cannon-66 max per shot 264 before a reload. Imo his rp is fine. His other moves could do more. His ult could maybe be a bit faster. Reapers shots 140 max per shot. 1 reaper shot does more damage than your max ss. 2 shots more than rp but without the drawbacks. 2 melees do more than ru. His healing passive keeps him alive longer. Roadhog 130 per shot. McCree 270 for the fan. Junk 120 max mine. Doomfist mobility is fine but buff him. Just look at the numbers. It’s not to say you can’t use him. Just that he’s so hard and the low damage doesn’t justify his kit. Also this dude is a beast.
