Depends a lot on how much AOE your raid group does, the only 2 full st bosses are sikran and nexus princess. And so you can technically run full aoe talents on all the rest of the bosses, but if the pad gets destroyed youre better off taking ray with coldest snap in replacement of frozen touch.

Huge overview and gz on kill, but what actually means what u say on 12:20 about flurrying there, and why we are not using cms on st anymore in almost any situation

At 12:20 I had 5 icicles and then I flurried into GS. The correct thing in that situation is to GS -> Flurry -> ice lance consumes. Cms usage is heavily limited because we want to prioritize ice lance when winters chill is up because of the frequency of splinterstorms, so we never use it right after flurry, and only do it when splinterstorm is in flight and winters chill is down. But we are commonly casting GS there as well.

How do you know when to Flurry and also to use Glacial Spike effectively outside of the Ice Lance spam is what I'm not understanding? Is Splinterstoem a dot we put on him or a buff were gettinf?

I'm messing up my use of the Spymaster's web i think. About what stacks should i be looking to use it at, AOE and single target if they differ in stack count/use?

in raid generally you should just use it in the last 20s of your last icy veins. In m+ I'd just use it with over 20 stacks on a great pull, or 40 in lust.

I thought arcane was a bit on the complicated side, but I have no idea how you would play spellslinger without weakauras, I don't see how the base game could support this in any way and even then its finicky at best. Great vid Good luck in your prog!

so at 3 stack of icicle... i normally forst bolt into flurry and the GC we dont do that anymore if we have 2 finger of frost ??? .... just fill it for 5 icicle and GC into flurry or BF ?

if my WA isnt purple yet and all I have is fof. If the WA is purple then splinterstorm is coming and I would prefer to comet storm. Really its just following the priority list. Winters chill ice lance > Orb > shifting power > comet storm (if splinterstorm in flight) > GS

bro seriusly, im 606 ilvl with 4 pieces, i can do like 1.4m dmg single target as arcane, but as frost the max i can do on single target is like 700k, and i cant understand how i can get it to hit like you

Its not, its good but you can 100% play frost. Does arcane provide some pretty valuable things? Yes. But frost is good enough. One of the things I dont think I highlighted enough is the only reason my dps was so high this fight is because of how geared I am, there was significant room for higher performance. Also worth noting I have 4 set and the other mage only has 2 set, though we both have heroic spymasters. 4 set isnt massive for arcane tho only like 1%.

Feet is a good option for sure. Eventually you want your crafts to be on wrist/oh, but as we start the tier you want to balance that with slots that give higher value since they will be myth track earlier. Personally I probably will craft boots 2nd, because I have some nice hero track bracers.

Theres nothing else to take, the only options are frostbolt talents or freeze talents, neither of which do anything for spellslinger.

same here, changed to arcane and goes from 500-600k as frost to 1.3m without efort as arcane, seriusly dont understand how this guy does so much dmg as frost
