Rank 1 NA [EX Abyss] Nirvana 515D - Husk Mysticism (IMG) 789 - 8S Herrscher Trio | Honkai Impact 3

Got Rank 1 last time this boss was up, but now new trio can do 789-790. Just barely a hair above the OG trio cap.
Previous upload was 787, Darius pointed out that I can mei wa then evade on P2 instead of evading first, which let the second hoo wep towards the end catch more htr breach uptime, giving me the damage I need to cleanly execute at 789. Huge thanks to him.
Still, there's a lot to mald for in this run. P1 damage is forgiving enough, but you have to time everything really well to get sufficient damage to kill p1 at 945 and not have surfboard atk during atf cause the bullshit -1. I got it in most of my runs but somehow didn't get it in this one lol.
Transition is really fucked, you will be 4-5pts slower for no reason at all if you press htr wep when mei is off cd. You have to press htr wep when mei's swap cd just barely passes her eye and isn't up all the way, so that htr wep procs hoo qte the instant it is up. This was the key for saving a lot of time in the beginning of my mald.
For the balls...its kinda just all luck. I position myself relatively close directly in front of the boss, and just press htr combo and ult once I see 856pts. If you go too early, hfi will qte into some random spot on the ground. Don't touch directional controls and just press wep combo. Pray the boss doesn't iframe your combo's later hits, thats about all you can do.
P2 is simple enough once you get past the balls. Hoo wep should fully be inside of the tail-end of htr breach at 796, then just transform and kill.
Granted, if you're not perfect affix, this will probably be very hard to do. Then you can just add a mei evade like beemaster did on SEA.

Alright, I'm gonna say my piece now and set the record straight going forward. This run is still Rank 1 NA because no player on NA was able to beat it. However, an EU player piloted an account and scored 790 in the last few hours. I will not bring names, but I know exactly who it was directly from the account owner. My stance on this is the following: If you pilot or get piloted for a score, you did not earn your rank. That account is not yours, and you were not even supposed to be in the competition, so I will not acknowledge a piloted run as having earned rank 1. I knew Styx and Aera are not playing, so I knew exactly what score I needed and how much effort I had to put in to secure the win. I bet no player on NA would've passed 789, and I was right. There was a 788 and a few 787, but I was at the top. Then, someone who's not even part of the server comes in and scores higher. Yeah, no, that's not cool at all. Going forward, I will not condone or accept any piloting. If the player was busy with life or whatever and just needed someone to take care of their account, that's fine, just 18k and sleep for the rewards. Actually competing is fraudulent behavior. Yay, my 6th rank 1 myriad!! :D

Thanks for ref! But man, wtf is this boss, 4D diff EU and NA - still cant skip HoO clean up completely (tho just weap is enough), mb if my affixes were better

mei cleanup does a good amount of damage. Did you make certain that combo damage on balls bled over to boss? thats also like 1/3 of a bar
