@@JAB_3965I’ll say my part. I’ve hardly seen him and the one I have seen that caused issues was an anomaly. I didn’t really see how good he was until I saw this type of gameplay. The ones in my lobbies are flanking back line and maybe picking a support role or sniper lacking then head to respawn. Tbf I never read his abilities or used him in practice mode so my only assumption was he’s meh. Learning how he does damage and how to isolate an enemy tank is a big game changer for me. I’ll never use him as I don’t have a brain for this type of game. Peaked gold something in ow as damage lol. All in all, I’ll say my first impressions were pretty much wrong. I need to learn how he works lol. Have fun learning the game.

He does percentage damage as he accumulates rage, therefore he is meant to be a tank shredder, picking off the over-extending tanks to easily pick off the remaining members.

I think that even if people understand he's a strong tank shredder he is still too squishy to really pose as a threat. His passive CD is a minute and a half and cab very easily popped off because of his squishiness, he doesn't get resets on his dashes (unlike BP) meaning he's very much an all in character, he doesn't heal outside of combat and if you don't have a good healer that manages to follow up on your engages you just die (look in this video how much Jeff stuck by Yckor which saved his ass on many scenarios, in solo que you won't have that unless he is your duo like here). Wolverine still needs a lot of love to truly shine but they can at least start by bumping his base hp to 350, reset his dash on a kill, reduce the CD on his passive and his E. Then I think he can preform a lot more consistently as a tank killer.

I feel like all they’d need to do for Wolverine is give him a leap reset after getting a kill. That would make all in’ing someone actually kinda worth it cause you could at least leap out. Got a question about Wolverines ult. When the best time to use and who do your do when you got multiple people split in multiple directions around you.

Best time to use your ult is when your rage is at 100% because it increases the damage and solo ulting important targets like supports is always a fine use. Whenever the enemy splits up i either just keep focusing the tank or if someone is low and i have my passive ill go after them.

Do you know about the backwards shift? If you look straight up while u shift you can look in any direction and it will hit if they are right next to you, so u right click, look straight up and behind, then shift. U go 20m instead of ~11m

Hot take but I think Wolverine only needs his attack chains to not end. Why does he end on that final hit when almost every other melee character continuously attacks? Also, make his super fast attacks he gets after leap be double the speed. No reason it should do low damage otherwise

A really big thing I noticed big streamers yap about is to compensate missing the leap with the dash, but you use your dash to secure the leap Theyre compensating for a kit weakness, youre turning it into a strength

i see a lot of people complaining abt wolverines kit and how it is not acurate to the crar, bui if find it verry fitting to the character like the animal marvel rivals wolverine trows himself at the biggest enemy they see and completely maws them ( he also does that in the comics), also he brings a diferent playstile to te table, making more strategies viable and creating counterplays to others. He is one of the best tank srheders arguably the best since he does not care about shields, beying a good counter to strange and magneto ( two of the most prevalent tanks in high elo )

Normally healers are terrified of Iron fist, Psylocke. For tank players they should be terrified of a good Wolv because man that was nasty. I saw it on Flats pov yesterday

I think Wolverine is incredibly weak right now but this kind of play style actually feels pretty good. Tanks with solid supports can be a pain and Wolverine can isolate and shred them better than any other character in the game probably. His E also essentially makes him the tankiest character in the game temporarily if you have solid supports since it effectively doubles his HP and healing. Playing as backline assassin will simply never work because he's too slow and squishy and doesn't do enough burst alone but if he plays with his team and just kidnaps tanks he feels usable.

It's crazy that this guy is able to use Wolvy in such effective guerilla warfare. Tho I'll be 100%, the playstyle doesn't really suit somebody like Wolverine imo, he def could've been a vanguard on the front lines soaking up damage and starting fights.
