Probably u r playing some other game .. as a f2p I would rather rank up champs who will help me counter higher number of nodes and champs , i play a game to challenge myself against higher rosters and to be able to clear story and other contents faster..that's where i find fun in the game ..

After this, I almost wished I had taken my hulkbuster to r4 instead of nimrod! But I don't regret ranking nimrod either. He'll be my next tech r4 for sure!

Won't get any arguments from me. HB is a strong and underrated champion in the current meta. The only problem with him isn't so much his kit but the flaw in his heavy animation where sometimes it pulls up short randomly. I remember it being talked about on the forums back when his rework was fresh and Kabam wouldn't address it.

His control is insane because his sp1 can control champions that cant be power drained/burned etc. Ill be super interested to see how he does in the upcoming crit BG meta.

Why are the opponents holding block right before you throw your sp2? Why wouldn’t they just throw their sp3 instead? Or are these just showcase fights and normally they will? Just curious because I have a 5 star HB that I’ve been thinking of taking to r5 and using a gem on. All suggestions are welcome from anyone!

Yeah its not always that sunny with him, he will whiff at times and the ai wont always play into it, he is great when things align though

you throw the sp2 right before you hit a basic attack so the ai automatically blocks im sure u have had times when you threw and special and ur opponent blocked it because u threw it before ur basic attack connected while playing him u basically do it on purpose. do a combo ender but right before it connects throw the sp2 the ai will definitely hold block

Yes do it. I took mine to only rank 2 and he is already so strong. Unless you have other tech options but Hulkbuster is one of the best choices.

Abs Man is high on everyone's list these days because he's so new. They're really hard to compare because Doom is a traditional mystic champ with stagger/nullify utility, whereas Abs Man is massive damage with some utility. I think it depends on what your roster needs more. If you need that nuke champ who can come in and lay down an insane amount of damage, got Abs Man. If you need damage + utility go Doom. Honestly it'd be hard to go wrong with either champ, they're both top tier.

I always struggle with Anhilus and Terrax so I'd go for Abs Man. Good defender as well and deals with some really annoying stuff in the game. He's a tank too.

Nah doom is just crazy. He can do so many fights that he has no right to do and frankly if the opponent can’t evade/auto block/mess with his power he has way more control than even hb with his rotation. I’ve done half of act 8 with him alone.

He doesn't rely on his heavies for his damage, with the armor break you'll be hitting very hard with just your basic combos. I use mine all the time

@kurthenning9721 it does, it increases by ~1100 I believe per shock, however the armor break is massive enough to you don't need to have many shocks on the opponent to see big numbers. Besides in BGs I play parry heavy style so I'll have shocks on the opponent when I throw sp2 and go in for the combo afterwards anyways

If it whiffs the first heavy its because you did it too quickly. After the sp2 you have to wait half a second for the opponent to get up
