Adventureland (2009) explained - It's the summer of 1987, and recent college grad James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg) can't wait to begin his long-anticipated dream trip to Europe. Unfortunately, James' plans come to a screeching halt when his parents announce that they are unable to subsidize his trip. Forced to take a job at the local amusement park, James prepares for the worst summer ever, until he finds love with a captivating co-worker named Em (Kristen Stewart).
Club Dread (2004) explained - Years ago Coconut Pete (Bill Paxton) had a hit record, but now he runs a tropical island resort where he spends his days basking in hedonism with the rest of the resort's offbeat staff. The paradise Coconut Pete presides over, however, becomes a living hell when an unknown killer begins slaughtering the staff. As the body count increases, so too does suspicion among the survivors. Now it's up to Coconut Pete and what's left of his staff to solve the mystery and stop the bloodshed.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) explained - Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney) is having difficulty adjusting to his hard-labor sentence in Mississippi. He scams his way off the chain gang with simple Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson) and maladjusted Pete (John Turturro), then the trio sets out to pursue freedom and the promise of a fortune in buried treasure. With nothing to lose and still in shackles, their hasty run takes them on an incredible journey of awesome experiences and colorful characters.

Great O Brother story. 😂😂😂 The movie was quite entertaining and constant sorrow. Chronologically I think that's the last Coen film I've seen. Just have a few here and there to finish their filmography and this one is currently pretty high up. Have not seen the other 2. I would probably like Club Dread.

I just have ones that I'll periodically peck away at. Coens are one, Paul Thomas Anderson is another, still have a few Hitchcock stragglers, and I have Asteroid City left for Wes. 😀😀😀

I’m sure I used to own club dread ( based upon its cover 🙄. But never watched it ) O’Brother is a great film. Clooney has great comic timing.

Yeah the Coens are great! I’m actually a little behind on their filmography. Starting with Hail Caesar, I haven’t seen it anything after.
