Whenever you kill units with horn of the abyss equipped you get a stack of fangarms to rise immediately in battle. These guys stay with you after the battle tho, so they're infinitely farmable. Very op stuff :D

The extras of Elixer of life doesn't work on undead and whatnot, but it's still so useful for necro in late game. Going from 6 hp per skeleton to 10 hp is insanely good.

Lexiav: Cornucopia is a solid D-Tier! Me *Just watched a video which Lexiav got super advantage by having Cornucopia in mid-game* also, it gives +4 of each precious resource, not 2.

lol air orb in B tier? do you think the same now? when you playing mainly JO? Also I dont like Necklace all stats + 3, its still best item for Necklace, so in my opinion its still S. when shield +4 is in TOP of S, Necklace should be at botom of S. In fact, when you get all +4, in that time you are having +3,+3 or sometimes + 12 defense, so Necklace sometimes better than shield.... The last thing is altrar of sacrifice is Sphere of Permanence. In JO you have almost everytime powerstack, which you want to prayer and lock. if oponent has unit with higher speed he can wait, dispel you at the end of round and next round start with berserk. for JO is Sphere of Permanence min. Tier A in my opinion. maybe S for some fractions , like when you have nix or efrets powerstack. question mark is golden gose, again for JO template. with diplo its very powerfull item. Hello, I know it will require some additional editing on your part but I would like to shoot in here that some people would like to see the artifact's effect bonus while you talking about them. Like for instance when talking about the Angelic Alliance, taking the effort to edit in the gold cost + effect in text for viewer to read would be helpful, at least for me. Seeing that 35% of your screen is "unused" black area, text could be there so not blocking the main image or facecam. The way you say Angelic Alliance is S-tier makes us understand it is good, but seeing the specs of the artifact would be awesome. Great tier list video. Keep it up!

I agree with most of what u said, with the exception of the gold bags and the statue parts Don't sacrifice those, u can never have enough money, just give it to a crap hero, one who's not gunna get killed or one u use to run around throughout the week and get ur windmills and such in the areas, and the statue parts, u can never have enough troops, and with the bags, u can afford them... plus the 3 bags combine to make a bag that gives u 5k gold a day, u missed that

You made a few mistakes, you have mistaken the Endless Bag of Gold with the Endless Sack of Gold, Cornucopia actually gives 5 resources every day so it is at least low c tier, Royal Armor of Nix gives you 6 power not 7. Also, really great tierlist!

Cornucopia gives +4 of every precious resource, not 2; so 5 in total! Pretty good thing to have on one of the supporting heroes. If you have surplus resources, you can sell them for nice amount of gold; the more towns you have, bigger the value!

Barbarian axe of ferocity should be higher - insta mass haste, bloodlust makes good work of enemies + it can counter most of effects of armor of the damned in some encounters (+ soon slow will be nerfed in HoTA meaning haste become better in comparison).

Great Vid, thanks Lex! One thing that would have made it even better for me, would have been the artifacts description/ability on screen as you rate it. I had to keep a second window open looking up each item as you addressed it. Thats probably a lot more editing though. I enjoyed it regardless and look forward to more!

power of the dragon father is one of THE WORST combination artifact in the game. The fact that you have 1-4 spell immunity means that you cannot resurrect or clone your own units, can't shield, cant haste them, that's, exactly what's worst of the gold dragon as well. of couse all your units will be vulnerable to implosion :))

I don't get it why he puts gold, resources and legion parts to altar of sacrafice when you can give them to your hero in town and farm everything. I know in 1vs1 you have only 1 hero but he mentions sometimes that something is good on side hero so what's going on???

The wizard's well gives you mana at the beginning of your turn, not the end. It matters because if your opponent attack you you won't have the mana yet.

Pretty standard for all recovery methods though. If you are blue I think you do have mana if red attacks, but not vice versa

9:30 You forgot to mention that Badge of Courage has actually a secret effect due to a bug in SOD. It gives your units immune to Blind spell. I think this was fixed in HotA. Nevertheless, a common item in the Hardcore maps (like Xiedu, Way Home and Metataxer Revenge). So if it is for a SoD version, I will put it in low A tier. :D

honestly why do u insist that legion items are bad that bad?? u can always get a secondary hero end a week in your town, and boost the growth of many creatures there. this can have a grail like effect!! and thats without the combination artifact...

titan's thunder weapon an A tier. Why? By the time you get it, you are guaranteed to have tons of spells/mana. And to put it together with rare artifacts AND get it to swap to some super low level hero with crap stats... why. Just why. Even slow is better than titan's thunder in many circumstances. Or ressurection, which you're far more likely to get before titan's thunder. It's such an impractical spell because you get it so late in the game.

The problem is that the damage will not change by spell power. And by the end fight, it will deal no damage (600 dmg always) and by the end fight, there are gonna be 50 ancient behemoths and etc...

The statue of legend increase the castle creature growth by 50% in ALL YOUR TOWN. Also the fire orb is pretty OP if you have armageddon spell.

But some recommendation is that our could rank and sort them in similar items first such as all plus attack, defense, SP, or knowledge items u could talk about them first and then move on to the next group so that it's easier yo follow. Surprised to see the cornucopia placed so low. Its an excellent artifact to give to a stationary hero. Like, it's worth it to buy a hero and have them garrisoned in some castle and equip cornucopia, legion pieces, sack of gold, etc.

Lich Cloak is BRUTALLY EXTREMELY nerfed in HOTA and that's the best version of HOMM3. It gives you 20% necromancy skill and don't even gives you liches. Worst combination artifact in the history of the universe and humanity's strategy-based turn game that was made 2001 February. The horn is just removed from most of the PvP Matches to make it more *✨ B A L A N C E D✨*

Since I primarily is Level 1 and 2 spells anyway, when I’m facing a mage the cloak prevents summoning elementals and resurrection which often is the difference in me winning the battle. Wish it was more readily available.

There is only one item in that list that when you get it it's game over (unless someone else also has it, or unless someone us doing armageddon blade cast and retreat dirty tactics) and that cloak should be top of S tier or maybe in it's own tier, it is the only item that can do that.

Hey Lexiav, great video! By any chance have you thought about making a "10 things I would change about HOTA" type of video? Many players are overall happy with things like changes to the Spell School, giving Tower Genie lamps and adding Interference and removing Resistance. But Necropolis is still quite over powered, Luna is still Luna and Inferno still sucks. I'd be really interested to know what you think could be done to this amazing game to make it even better!

Spirit of opression prevents you from morale death, like taking an angel dwelling and the angel isn't going to morale.

Literally +4% for additional move and +4% for double damage being better than +5 to attack, +5 to defence, +4 to knowledge and + 4 to spell power combined with expert haste, counterstrike, fire shield and blood lust?

this game has one of the hugest fanbase among all the games. whenever I ask someone if one player and enjoyed some franchise they respond to most titles that I thought are super popular (like lets say Elder Scrolls or Mount&Blade or STALKER) but they always say that thay know and/or enjoyed Heroes 3 a lot. Plust lots of games have mods dedicated to replicating Heroes 3 on that game engine so there are people who actually invest lots of time and love into that universe.

In Heroes 3, the Cornucopia gives FOUR of each of the "precious" resources daily.

Orb of vulnerability has more uses. It not only allows you to hit, say, Black Dragons with any level spells, it allows you to Reussurect YOUR dead Black Dragons (or heal them, if they are not yet dead!). You can also Clone, Teleport, Shield, Stone Skin and lots of like spells your magically immune creatures. It is not just "kill, kill, kill" - but that's in Heroes 3, not sure what goes on in other games. Edit: And while I was typing this you basically said the same thing...

Spirit of Oppression is S tier for Necromancers, as they never get morale, denying it to others balances things (and Necropolis being so unbalanced in power later in the game, it makes things even more lopsided on their favor!)

this list is extremely biased towards how easy/hard it is to get an artifact and he HATES resource artifacts. But misses the fact that even mid-game you end up with tons of wep/head/torso/shield artifacts in the backpack with crap stats. but a mega artifact like statue of legion or even the pieces are so low

You mistakenly called the Crown of the Supreme Magi, the Ogre Crown. And got the stats wrong, it is +4 Knowledge crown.

I managed to win one game with Cape of Silence against an enemy who had AotD, which ended up casting only sorrow. It's great against the Ironfirst of the Ogre aswell. The 3-5 cloak works against AA and disables it's prayer, which is great aswell. Sphere of Permanence - you missed the point, that you can still dispell curses from your own units using cure spell instead, meanwhile the enemy can't dispell your blessings(only counter-attack them, f.e slow vs haste - not all can be, for example prayer has no counter), and dispelling only works on your opponent, but doesn't affect you, which makes this item one of the most broken items in this game to my opinion, which is such a big of misunderstanding that you put it on lowest tier.

i might not be completely right on this because i can't seem to download HotA for some reason, but ring of the magi with blind+disrupting ray, which are 2 spells that are easy to get, allows you to just reduce the defense skill of a stack of archangels to 0 after you kill their other units.
