This is the most fact-based ranking of COTW maps to date and most accurate in my opinion. My choices would not be exactly like yours, but darn close. Well done!

I didnt play all maps yet as im fairly new to the game (roughly 110 hours) but i love Yukon Valley, Emerald Coast and SRP. I also enjoy Vurhonga Savanna, Medved and Te Awaroa are in my opinion a bit boring (speaking abt the landscape) as they look the same no matter where on the map you are. I really look forward to playing Sundarpatan but i will only purchase that after i played more on the maps i already have. Great vid man, keep it up!

I also fell in love this game thorugh Hirschfelden, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Very non-biased ranking, which is good, and i agree with a lot of it. For me the more personality a map has the more I like it :D Great video as always

Everyones entitled to their own opinions- but i think putting emerald coast, sundar and Revontuli above silver ridge is way wrong. I've spent the majority of my play time on silver ridge. Wide open spaces and you can pretty much hunt all the species with the 20gauge, 22-250, 300 mag and 308. You used to be able to just hunt the entire map with the 308, 300 win and 20gauge shotgun. But they dropped the class for pronghorn, so now you need the 22-250 or 243

As these lists are based on personal preference we see different orders a lot but yours is the closest to mine yet. I would have had medved and te awaroa higher and I’m not big on revontuli. Good vid 👍

My top 5 favorite maps 1.Medved-taiga (because of atmosphere and because its only one winter map) 2. Parque Fernando (Because of the atmosphere and the fog that I love) 3. Rancho del Arroyo( because of the wild west atmosphere,music, and Because this nature reserve taught me how to do without binoculars. 4. Vurhonga savannah( A great sanctuary for hunting memorable trophies) 5. Mississippi acres( Atmosphere, uniq animals, uniq experience of hunt on ducks and gators and yeah music I like too)

1. Hirschfelden 2. Layton Lakes 3. Cuatro Colinas 4. Sundarpatan 5. Vurhonga Rancho would probably be number 3 or higher if it had more species, though it doesnt have as many large game options as most places do. A bobcat rework would be great, coyotes too. A bighorn rework would be great in general and if they actually differentiated the desert bighorn that live in the Sonora, that would be amazing. Don't understand why they don't call the subspecies what they are either; desert bighorn, sonoran pronghorn, etc. Would be a nice addition for the game all around. Jaguars would be my absolute #1 pick for a new species, functioning like snow leopards do in Sundarpatan, or even rarer. There's Mexican wolves, kit foxes, Gambel's quail, desert cottontail, spotted skunks, puma, greater roadrunner would be cool, having snakes on the map would be awesome too. They definitely have options to chose from and I feel like Rancho needs some love. I doubt it will ever see it, but a man can dream haha. If nothing else a couple animals could be backfilled like with Medved

So im gonna litter my opinion here! I overall agree but think many maps need some improvements so im gonna rank all the maps and say what needs to be improved imo. 1. Revontuli 2. Emerald coast 3. Mississippi, great some more waterfowl or critters would be cool tho. 4. Te awaroa, could use remodels for chamois and an upland bird liek chuckar or california quail 5. Sundarpatan, tahr redistribution and upland bird(s) 6. Silver ridge peaks, love the mountain goat and overall mao id say it doesnt need improvement besides reclassification and remodel of bighorn sheep but a marmot, lagomoph or upland bird would benefit it. 7. Rancho, some new speceis would always be cool but overall super fun! 8. Yukon valley. Great map needs a cupple remodels, you could also add dall sheep or some birds but that isnt needed id say 9. Salzwiesen park, fun to hunt but it would have really benefitet from more new species like gray patridge, common scoter or barnacle goose, overall great map tho 10. Cuatro, of course new species would be neat but waht it really needs IMO is remodels! 11. Hirschfelden, fun map doesnt really need anything would benefit from some birds but not that important 12. Layton lakes, needs some remodels, some more species would be cool aswell. 13. Medved taiga, still fun but the exclusive species have to bad of models for me to really wanna hunt them. 14. New england mountains, super scenic beutiful to hunt but needs more speceis like woodduck, ruffed grouse or groundhog. 15. Parque Fernando, their is no problem with it but i dont play it much, it could use pere davids deer. 16. Vurhonga, for me it feels like if somebody that does bareky know anything about africa made an aftica map, it feels like a zoo enclosure or some kind of dome but it doesnt feel real, new speceis would be fun of course but what would really benefit it would be a bunch of remodels, giving the lions different behaviour, a large improvement would be to scrap the whole island idea and put in the south of the river where their is no water just forest to make it seem more real. Peres Davis Deer would revive Parque I'm sure. It would be great if the devs find a way to really benefit from the addition of new species to older reserves so we could see some of the ideas you suggest. New birds to sundar are a must, some on layton would be great too.

Great video! I see it is very simmular to last time, but Yukon is A because people accused you of being a criminal😅. Here's my list from Best to Worst(This is a little rushed so some maps may be slightly different but overall I think this is around how I would rate them) 1. Sundarpatan 2. Emerald Coast 3. @@ProXCK It's the lack of unique species and it isn't as unique in terrain with salzweisen and New England. We also have Plains Bison, which DESPERATELY need a remodel, but they are simmular and slightly larger. I also played the game when there were a few dlcs so I don't have as much nostalgia for it.

@@ProXCK Now thinking about it I think Hirsch is probably 13 above Parque. Hey though don't get me wrong, hirsch is not a bad map, the only one I dislike is Rancho, but I got my first rare, let alone trophy, of the year on the 2nd of 2025 on Parque, and I have a blast there so I quite like Parque and I like Hirsch more. We also have Cuatro which isn't a top 5 imo, so it gives more reason to go to Hirsch because some of the species not excluse to hirsch because of Cuatro, while that isn't SO good to hunt them that you have no reason to go to Hirsch, again it is a really good map too, but it isn't quite amazing imo.
