Wittrock is 100% on point with Blitzcrank. He's like Onix in Pokemon Red/Blue that made players use their brain to better understand the game at early stage. Discovering Blitz + Zephyr combo is one of my best memories of TFT.

set 5 viktor/brand/nautilus/sejuani/thresh/hecarim was probably my two best ever 2 cost reroll comp of all time, first set i realized reroll was broken as fk, and i cried so hard when viktor was gone in 5.5

Set 2 Senna is still my favorite unit by far to this day. Her spell, as I remember, targeted farthest ally, affected all allies giving them some survivability buff, but more importantly, giving them a buff on their auto attacks for a certain amount of time that scaled with Senna's AP-- The amazing part of this spell shape was the interaction with berserkers, and their combined interaction with Morello. Berserker units spread some of their attack damage in a cone in front of them, going back an extra row. You could arrange berserker units in a diagonal across the board, have Senna with a mana-boosted start and Morello (I think the ideal build was something like Morello, Hand of Justice, and either Archangels or Blue Buff, just because her higher-mana cast going off that early was that impactful), and your berserker units would apply morello almost immediately, apply Senna's on-hit damage on the entire front-line, but also more than one berserker unit would splash Senna's full on-hit damage onto the same unit, and front lines could actually melt, while your swinging-gate stronger Berserkers on the top left could threaten backline in that position. Set two was my favorite mostly because of this unit. I almost never saw other people play around this combo--to busy rerolling Olaf or health-stacking Mundo if they even touched Berserkers Or playing Lucian Cheese. Still nice. There was more here. Set was broken, but if people could find their own slice of it like this, that could actually fight the usual complaints, they'd have this as their favorite set too.

Heres my pitch for 5-cost Malz: You get a giant Voidling you can place on the board (like a Zzrot): When it dies, it splits into several smaller voidlings that are like set 10 yorick ghouls and fade away after x seconds. Malzahars spell can then be his void portal thingy, similar to alunes aoe dmg this set but with manareave added to it. Highly Utility 5-cost that you can flex into any comp

Set 3 Mordekaiser is probably my all time favorite unit in TFT. Vanguard Mystics with Mordekaiser slowly microwaving everything to death was my favorite thing.

Mana printer Sona was so much funnnnnnn. Also, cleanse on her was super noticeable and busted because she casted so often lol. Plus even w/o chalice, I would have probably still used her, especially w/ a SG spat in that comp. Honestly, crazy broken, and I get why it didn’t come back when Set 3 was playable again, but Manaprinter SG was one of my most nostalgic comps to play, I loved it so much.

Getting an early chosen Sylas in Set 4 with 3 moonlight was probably one of the most sleeper broken strat in Set 4. Slamming items early on him means you effectively have a 3 Star 2 Cost Carry as early as stage 2. It can carry through Stage 5 which lets you fast 9 very easily. Definitely one of the more memorable units in Set 4 for me

I liked Jayce set 1 where you go full wild and shapeshifters and build him full titanic hydra because titanic did bonus dmg based on your health and when he uses his skill he gets burst of atk spd Most of the fights were done after he casts because he shreds everything

What if TF pick a card came back with some sort of shop mechanic where you can find the different cards in your shop to buy. Similar to Heimer turret upgrades. If you purchase a few gold cards from the shop they will make his next few spell casts upgrade.

Can't remember which set, but i remember playing ranked with a buddy, and i had a Lucian carry playing Gunslingers. My Lucian did a 180 and ran out of the map and never came back. Maybe one day he'll return

Wasn't Set 4 Annie the "stack infinite Shields" Annie? I distinctly remember clips of giant shield Annie being repeatedly slammed by Sett because she built up so much Shield that she basically doesn't die.

Yes, they missed that part of her kit. The rest (trait, spell, clarity, etc) were valid A tier but that infinite shield stacking would bring her down to B tier. This required vertical chosen mage as opposed to fortune.

1:45:00 I really wonder how they can forget about the terror that 2cost tristana in set 5.5 was... You would open fort until 3-2, roll down for tris 2 and kennen 2 and win streak for the rest of the game (unless other players abused the power of tristana). Put your fronline in the backrow so the enemies walk up. There was zero counterplay to this comp. They then nerfed/reworked her to oblivion. For real one of the most op champs of all times.

2 costs in set 11 feels like they are a "filler" (except some niche comps aka shen/yorick) and even in some decent comps like inkshadows senna once u get kai'sa she's miles better than senna
