I agree about the Jaclyn Mom palette. Gives me Morphe vibes even the packaging with no mirror. Makes me sick I paid $49 for it. Wasn’t crazy about ABH Rose Metals but I got it and it’s amazing! Great grungy fall smoky eyes with shimmers. Always buy Pat when it’s 30% off on her website

Great list, but I was shocked with the Natasha Denona Retro glam palette- I love that palette I can’t put it down, the greens are so beautiful. The dear mom palette is my go to as well, the neutrals and greens are stunning, I got a lot of compliments on my eye look. ❣️💕

I must give it to Natasha Denona they were trying something different with that Retro Glam palette, but they absolutely missed the mark on this one...and I think the Glamlite Strawberry Shortcake Palette would have been great for a Valentine's release. Whoa, the Coloured Reign Queen Bee palette claimed #1 stop that's awesome. I wasn't expecting that at all, I was thinking a Colourpop palette was going to take the top spot. Excellent run down of your worst to best eye shadow palettes of 2022. It was so much fun to watch Allie. Thank you so much for sharing darling ❤️, take care and have a wonderful Christmas 🎄❄️☃️💖.

It is just so pretty. Really looking forward to your declutter next week. I'm sure it's not going to be easy for you. You must be exhausted from vlogmas. The Natasha Danona Retro Glam is good quality, but the color story lacks dimension. All of the shades of sage green look the same on the eye and there is no way to get any depth. I subbed out three or four shadows from her other palettes and created something I really like. But similar to her pastel palette, it is not a stand alone palette for me. If Danessa Myricks released the eight chrome shadows in a stand alone palette, I’d pay $85 for them. She did that last time, with Volume III, so I’m still hoping!

I just don’t like Pat McGrath eyeshadow. (Mascara though is a different story). I think the one that I loved the most was that little five pan sample palette that they used to sell at Sephora for 29 bucks that they a year or two discounted for half price. That formula was freaking phenomenal and that’s what made me last year buy a mothership and one of the big Christmas collection palettes and like four of the quads when she had her 30% off sale going on. I’ve since then, sold the mothership I had, the Christmas collection and two of the quads. I only have two quads left that are actually decent. The astral blitz shades are freaking horrible even if you use glitter glue and one of the quads I had was literally four astral blitz shades. Actually still waiting to sell that one. Anyway…As Teresa is dead would say… “Glitter bukakke” all over your face that nobody wants.

I really don’t care for viral brands I wanna review makeup in the near future and I’m 23 and have lots of experience with makeup but trust me Allie don’t review or buy makeup bc the brand is viral and everybody is buying the palette bc “it’s the hype of the year” cuz if something isn’t interesting to me I wouldn’t simply buy it at all cuz if the color story seems boring, redundant & repetitive then I’m just not excited at all like for me personally I would never spent a high end or luxury price for a good neutral palette cuz so many drugstore brands produce decent or really good quality neutral palettes like Colourpop for example the only high end neutral palette I would buy is Huda Beauty’s Rose Quartz palette cuz I’m sucker for purple eyeshadows especially it’s hard to find beautiful purple neutral palettes also I won’t buy products from brands that haven’t the greatest shade range in foundations, concealers or especially complexion products like blush, highlighter, contour or bronzers especially in face palettes the shade ranges are never good and never fit all skin types which is so sad & unfortunate but yeah only buy stuff you genuinely find interesting and color stories that you would personally get use of so yeah love is out to you Allie❤️

I feel like the Sydney Grace bundle was different than what Mac does. For starters, it was actually Mel herself who created the bundle and picked those shadows. It was what she had hoped the ND Retro palette would have been. So it's actually something that truly represents her. And next, they donated a large portion of the proceeds to Mel's family. That's something that I don't think Mac does. They also spoke to Mel's family and got their permission to sell the bundle and call it by her name. So yeah, completely different situation.
