if imma be COMPLETELY honest, the only things I would change is that humbug would be slightly higher, and everything else gets shifted down and I’d place mammott at number 1. mammott plays for the entire song, isn’t repetitive and boring like noggin here, is very clearly audible and adds a great base sound, and carries the beginning with reedling and quarrister.

Listen, Noggin might only be doing 2 pats per phrase, but it’s exactly the driving force needed for this island. If you remove Noggin, you hear it, and Drumpler doesn’t feel as filled. Boring? Sure, i guess. But it serves a much higher purpose. One that i know from personal experience in playing music. I played a tuba my last two years of high school, and a bass trombone in jazz band for all 4. While I certainly was allowed to have fun, my primary purpose was foundation. In this, i would actually be like Mammott, but this reasoning still applies to Noggin. It might be simple, but it’s the literal driving force behind the song. Drumpler complements Noggin, then builds off the tension that comes from such a “boom shick” sorta feel.

Humbug is criminally underrated He is perfectly audible on ethereal and before epic wubbox melted everyone’s ears he added a nice echo to earth On top of that the designs for the common and epic are goated (but rare is terrible)
