1:20 these people don’t understand n25 kaito at all. Kaito pushes the n25 members to face their problems while Meiko is just encouraging them that they should bottle them up. In reality N25 kaito is the helper that actually helps N25 becoming better

i also like how he doesnt sugarcoat what he thinks will help them, even if it is painful it will help them move forward in the end. he still cares about the others, but puts priority in making sure he can ensure niigo can put their main problem behind them

i think both have a point and that's probably- well. the point. Im a HUGE (it's insane) n25 Kaito fan, but Kaito *doesn't* understand what Mizuki is going through in the same way Meiko does. Interrogating her would likely only distress her, so Meiko getting him to slow down was much needed. At the same time I'm also incredibly shocked there was hate apparently (i havent seen any), since Kaito really did just want to help and in the end, he helped give her the push she needed (Mizuki straight up thinks about that). They both had a point and the combination of placid/protective and blunt/pragmatic is what made it work, not one or the other.

kaito's way is not always the way, he is harsh and cold, he doesn't sugarcoat anything, there are times where he may cause more harm than good, every vocaloid in the empty sekai has a way to do things, none of that ways are the absolute truth, but they work in the right circumstances, that's what i like about nightcord vocaloids

I still love Niigo KAITO even after the events of Mizuki5, he can be a huge help to Niigo sometimes with his bluntness but that isn't always going to work and he needs to learn that. I think this very flaw though is what makes Niigo KAITO so compelling.

my ranking is literally the same as yours but switching l/n kaito with niigo kaito. i absolutely adore niigo kaito's whole thing, but if i had to be realistic, his type of personality is one im not too fond of. shy kaito however is such a precious thing

i love niigo kaito because he's so imperfect. He's aggressively blunt yet avoidant about any emotion besides anger, really scary one moment and then a dude smiling at a POPSICLE. A POPSICLE- idk, when tons of sekailoids are unhatable paragons with cool singing skills and nice life lessons, seeing a guy that makes genuinely controversial decisions and conflicts with basically everyone he knows and sucks at expressing his other facets and puts every tidbit of care behind "do i look like the kind of guy to-". the other niigoloids do this too, but kaito really just goes full swing with it (plus, i just like that type of personality and i like kaito). Not to say i dislike the other ones because I love the other kaitos and the other sekailoids a ton, but niigo kaito's so different and i love it.

As a fans of niigo, i was shock knowing people hate niigo kaito after mizu5. Mizu5 just make niigokaito more flavorful, i see him as mafu adoptive dad that done with everything and participate on more active role that pushed niigo out so they can walk into future which differ from niigomeiko which have a passive motherly side which encourage niigo growth slowly and naturally. Niigokaito style of "parenting" trigger niigomeiko instinct that cause the fight on the event. This is also very interesting since on the fight, kaito prioritize mafu since the sekai is of mafuyu and they are born from mafuyu feelings unlike other sekai beside wxs. I saw the incident like how your dad trying to help your close friend. I love how much care they made to shape this version of kaito, he isnt just a "kind vocaloid that help to find your feelings".

KAITO is probably the VS that is the most different depending on sekai. Which is a shame, most people started to play this game for Vocaloids, but writers didn't gave them much personality - I get that they are supposed to be supporting characters, but still is a missed opportunity.

KaiMei in Niigo have a great compatibility since Kaito will go full offense to help (in a harsh way) and Meiko know when to stop him before it turn into a pure chaos

I didn't know alot of people hate kaito in mizu5. I think he was sort of helpful to Mizuki and lowkey i kinda like the argument he had with meiko and it still ended up with kaito encouraging mizuki at the very least. So in my opinion n25 kaito is somewhat better and the fact it means that kaito also helped not only mafuyu but maybe other nightcord member too (Correct Me If I'm Wrong)

as someone who hated on nikai after mizu5 for a few days id like to say the hate he got is somewhat wrong. as a kana oshi i say that nikai IS selfish, but just like kanade, he brings up a question: is it bad to be selfish and still help other people, even if for other reasons? regardless of his true intentions, if he only wants mizuki to be fine because shes "useful" for mafuyu or not, hes still helping her in his own way yk. at the same time i kinda understand the hate... i just think that some exaggerated and demonized him a little too much idk. Also he helped kana in kana4 in his own way so bc im biased along with rin hes one of my fav niigoloids :3

also i think it's important to point out he DOESN'T say what he means unless "what he means" is aggressive advice. This is the guy who glanced around to make sure nobody was watching and then put a pillow under rin and miku's heads, and then says he doesnt do stuff out of kindness, isnt the type of guy to help a kid, etc, at literally every chance he gets. he's totally a blunt and angry and tactless dude but he's not as "pure rage" as he tries to be
