I think Inferno should be ranked higher since it counters newspaper zombies because when Inferno breaks newspaper zombies newspaper, newspaper zombie speed becomes really slow. Another reason why he should be ranked higher is because he can kill a gargantuar by himself at level 1 he is the Only fire plant that can do that.

my rank so far 12. Hot potato ( melt plants or zombies that are frozen,when lvl 5 it can melt octopus ) 11. Snapdragon ( I prefer cold snapdragon though, I even overrated this plant when I was age 5 just because of how it looks ) 10. Ghost pepper ( An ok gemium plant, she is good for hordes and not good for high health zombies, although i still like it) 9. Pepper pult ( Warms nearby plants, and does splash damage in a 3x3 area, but i barely use it ) 8. Hot date ( I prefer jalapeno, although it can attract zombies and kill imp dragon idk why ) 7. Jalapeno ( A flame that kills all zombies in one lane and does high damage ) 6. Inferno ( Can knockback zombies and good to counter zombies that goes fast ) Jalapeno ( A flame that kills all zombies in one lane and does high damage ) 5. Lava guava ( One of my favourite gemium plants, its just like squash but the lava stays for 12 seconds ) 4. Fire peashooter ( A fusion of torchwood and peashooter together, can shoot plasma peas when it has a higher level ) 3. Pyre vine ( The range is really bad on the first level, its good for shredding hordes and high health zombies when its leveled up ) 2. Pepper mint ( A full lane of jalapenos, and boosts fire plants ) 1. Jack o' lantern ( A better version of pyre vine, has better range but it has a cooldown )

I forgot to do this one 12. Hot Potato - Melt obstacles..... That's it. 11. Pepper Pult - Worst lobbed shot plant in the game because of ridiculous slow recharge. 10. Snapdragon - Overrated plant. The plants above are better. 9. Jalapeno - I rarely use this plant because Cherry Bomb, Primal Potato Mine and Lawn Mower exists. 8. Inferno - Can only knock back a few zombies. 7. Ghost Pepper - Good against groups of zombies but not great against tough zombies. 6. Hot Date - The better Jalapeno since it makes zombies in other lanes get killed. 5. Fire Peashooter - Very high damage but I would usually use Red Stinger more. 4. Lava Guava - A very good early game plant and has faster recharge than Potato Mine. 3. Pepper Mint - Full board Jalapeno is OP. Also buffs fire plants. 2. Pyre Vine - The range is kinda short but it's worth it. 1. Jack O' Lantern - The better Pyre Vine in my opinion it deals very high damage and I'm glad it isn't manual anymore.

My ranking list: (Prepare for a long comment) 12. Hot potato This is obvious... Her use is only to melt certain obstacles. She's cute tho, especially in the thumbnail. 11. Snapdargon He just attacks closely and he could be frozen... imagine a fire plant getting frozen while the icy counterpart is immune to it I'll guess that he can be frozen because dragon(or any reptile) is a cold-blooded, making them weak to extreme temperature 10. Jack-o lantern I like the green flames and his powerful attacks but I'm not used to recharging plants. At least he can attack automatically now, making defensive plants a choice to let him recharge back 9. Lava guava Usefull for first time getting it and the I got bored using it. It could stall a gargantuar for a while because that giant zombie would try to smash this instant use plant 8. Ghost pepper Kinda surprised that this plant is in this family plant instead of enchant-mint's but I think it is because of her haunting power may contain burning spirits Would be better if she can heat the other plants. At least she can float without lily pad at the water wave and she is immune towards wizard zombies' sorcery 7.pepper pult He would be better if he has faster recharge. He is literally a weaker version of melon-pult with heating ability 6. Inferno He is loud but I like the fire tornado. You can use this plant as a stalling strategy since he pushes zombies. Finally, we reached to the top 5 5. Fire peashooter Her fire peas is amazing, and the blue peas(napalm peas) make her better. She only have this ability at level 5 so be patient lmao 4. Jalapéno Good instant use plant. He could kill the imps from the gargantuar and the garg itself. He'd kinda the definition of "killing two birds with one stone". A better quote for this is "killing the garg and the imps using one jalapéno" 3. Pepper-mint The leader of the family, he boost all of his family members. The lawn is literally on fire even after the song "zombies on your lawn" is ended. 2. Pyre vine There's alot of strategy that this vine plant can provide like saving space to keep the other plants warm. Can be used as additional attackers too. 1. Hot date He is the combination of sweet potato and jalapeno. I would use him instead of both of those plant. Protective plants that explode is the best in my opinion

My list (Only plants I have) 4- Hot potato: This is one of the worst adventure plants in pvz2 if you have heating plants, which you also have heating plants in frostbite caves so why? 3- Pepper pult: Would be much better if it did not have a 20 second recharge, that's like almost the recharge of primal potato mine 2- Snapdragon: Render's pepper pult useless in frostbite caves. Putting 2 snapdragons and plant food on them will wipe the final wave instantly 1- Pyre vine: That's right, I have pyre vine. Pyre vine is kinda like a snapdragon with shorter range, higher DPS, lanewide range and plant food range, and is a vine. Pretty much a better spikeweed Bonus: Torchwood. Torchwood would be ranked 2nd or 1st.

K this are my opinions don't take this seriously 12 Snap Dragon ( good barrel imp counter and imp Cannon too the thing is he's weak there's other pepper mint family that is greater than him) 11 Hot Potato (I didn't know she damage the zombie when trying to melt the ice but know Ik and H.P.(Hot Potato) is one rank higher than S.D.(Snap Dragon) she is really useful for the entire frost bite cave levels and that's all only that world) 10 Lava Guava (good counter to all stars and a line full of imps but... It's a premium plant and haven't got him when I was still playing 🙁) 9 Pepper Pult ( another good plant in frostbite cave and the splash damage is decent🙂👌) 8 Inferno (I was planning to put him a little higher but the pepper gang are too strong and he has a short range knockback awesome good counter to Cannon and barrel imp and summons dust devil the demolish every thing in his way except for gargs) 7Jalapeno (I played PVZ 1 and good plant to destroy a whole bunch of zombies but I wonder if it would do the same in PVZ2 well idk I just remember that I lost because the jalapeno reload is slow) 6 Ghost Pepper (only pepper gang that doesn't have a red or orange I had her when I still was playing and was solid and didn't know that she floats on water now IK cause of this video) 5Hot Date ( his super insane damage insane even though he look like a...... I think thats 2020.. i stopped playing around the time they introduced mega gatling pea… that shit was too OP especially with pea vine and torchwood… 3 chillies pennys is too damn ez so i got bored and stopped. But now i played again with new account and playing with difficulty is fun again Also, they should really nerf pea vine… dude is just unstoppable except for that joker zombie

Ghost Pepper is not a fire plant. Here are the things a fire plant must do 1. They can't get Frozen by the blizzard winds. 2. They can get Frozen by the snowball zombie 3. They make their own heat to melt the ice and free the other plants 4. They can't kill the Dragon Imp Ghost Pepper doesn't do any of that stuff, she can get Frozen, she doesn't make heat and she can kill the Dragon Imp. I think she belongs to the Bombard-Mint family. Cuz she explodes as she starts to disappear.
