To be fair Jake Fraley had a lot going on last year. He got sick early in the season when the Reds were in Seattle. His daughter has also been fighting cancer. He started picking things up before the All-Star break, and was better towards the end of the season. Hopefully this year he gets back to form.

If you hit a hard liner right at the left fielder, barreled it up great exit velocity. That’s considered a better at bat then a solid contact hit up the middle. In my mind putting the baseball we’re it needs to generate hits is often overlooked.

Not to mention postseason is against nothing but good teams, with above average pitching. So Judge's below average postseason track record isn't really that concerning, he could have one monster postseason run and completely erase that narrative.

Soto is a DH playing RF. Great hitter but poor defensively and a poor base runner. And I don’t mean because of SB’s, I mean him leading the league in base runner interference. To say he can “do anything he wants” in RF depends on how many outs and games he costs the Mets.

I'm going to throw out a fact soto led the Yankees along with Stanton, every time Stanton hit a home run, who was on base? exactly soto, and it was seen more in the cleveland series and the dodgers without soto with difficulty stanton since the judge was completely out of it, maybe they would have beaten cleveland, but in no way would they have beaten cleveland without soto contributing what he did They wouldn't have made it to the world series without him, that's a fact.😊
